The hotel was in the perfect location to enjoy all the development of the riverfront area. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was very hot and humid when we were there but the rooms were very comfortable and cool. The room was large with a nice sized desk with internet connection.

Beautiful room with friendly staff. Wonderful location - close to attractions - perfect for families. Hotel charged our debit card two extra charges without consent. Close to everything! We did not want to have to drive and this was perfect. We have two small children and we wanted to be able to park the car and leave it there - walking to each place we had on our agenda. The Hilton garden inn gave us that ability. When we called the hotel we had to leave a message. The supervisor called back and stated that the two charges were customary and done for "security" reasons. (.?) But, the charges are to be returned. Other than that one incident - our stay with the Hilton as outstanding!

We just wanted something near the TN Aquarium, but got SO much more with this hotel! It was a weekend getaway that proved to be so relaxing, I can't wait to return again! The room included a beautiful view from a private covered balcony. But the biggest surprise was the in-room jacuzzi! Talk about unwinding completely! And not having to drive meant more time to explore the nearby attractions -- it is so easy to relax here. If I'd had more time, I'd have loved to stay longer. I highly recommend this place, especially if you just need to have a quick refresher away from home, for fun. I went back to work feeling like I'd been gone a week, thanks to a great staff who were always there to make the stay very enjoyable!

The Hilton Garden Inn in Chattanooga is definately above average when compared to the alternatives in the Tennesse Valley, but it hardly seems worth the price. Some of my beefs have more to do with policies than the specific location or staff. Why do hotels close up the amenities as such an early hour? Once you get back to your hotel after seeing the city, everything is closed: the pool, the fitness center, the lounge. Are those amenities only for people who don't actually go out to see the local attractions? This is a nice hotel, but it hardly justifies the rate. If they had thrown in a jacuzzi tub, giving me something to enjoy in the hotel after hours, I would reconsider paying thier rate again.

This is a gorgeous and very convenient hotel in downtown Chattanooga. The service is friendly and efficient. Breakfast in the cafe was extremely chaotic. This could have been better organized and managed.
