I was in town for fifteen minutes, but needed to stay overnight in Arlington. This was a convenient location (easy Metro access at Courthouse Station). And Hilton is always reliable. Loved the free internet service, which was very easy to access (although the signal was low all the time). I was not disappointed by anything except: I would have loved a continental breakfast thrown in with the room, and I don't think 10PM is too late to serve food, but all food services were shut down at the hotel by that time. They *WERE*, however, kind enough to direct me to the Wendy's down the street.

Comfy bed. Broken toilet. Check in is supposedly 3pm but our room was not ready till 3:30pm only to go up to it and discover the toilet was broken. Repairman was called in took an hour to fix.The good things: comfy bed, clean, location (by metro), wireless free internet.

Great hotel value for its price. Beautiful, clean, luxurious room. The only fault is that the quoted daily hotel parking rate was less than the one I was charged at check-in.

Stayed here last year and came back for another long weekend in DC. Very convenient to Metro, and this part of Arlington makes a good base of operations to range out from while exploring DC. Comfortable rooms, helpful staff, somewhat pricey breakfast.

We were visiting our daughter who lives just a block away. We did not need the "amenitites", but the coffe in the room was fine. Staff was friendly, and we discoved that 1/2 block away there is a nice small Farmers Market on Sat and a small "Flea market" on Sun which were fun. The Metro is convenient also. We will definately stay there again. The beds were very compfortable and the room was quiet.

Lcation, clean, cost was affordable, comfortable beds and lovely linens. Nothing. 2 night stay, comfortable and quiet. Close to good restaurants. Easy to find for out of town travelers. Desk personnel very helpful. Easy check in.

This hotel is located within easy walking distance of several nice restaurants and pubs if you decide not to use services on premises. Nestled within the Arltn courthouse and police station areas, you have a high degree of security - also, farmers and antiques market in courthouse parking lot on weekends. 5 min walk to Metro stop.

If you plan to spend most your time in DC this is a hotel you should consider. It's inexpensive, clean, and best of all its location allows quick and easy access to D.C. via a Metro stop nearby. But don't be fooled by the "Hilton" name. This is a low budget facility that could drive some people nuts, i.e., an a/c that is so noisy that you'll be tempted to turn it off and deal with the heat; a bathroom that is hardly large enough to fit two people at the same time - even if one person is in the shower! Still. I'd go back maybe without my wife.

Feeling of safety. Proximity to Metro. No swimming pool. This hotel was in a great location if you are traveling by Metro. I felt very safe walking to and from the Metro which was about a block away and to the restaurants that were only 1 to 1.5 blocks away. The rooms were very clean and spacious with comfortable beds.

My husband and I were extremely pleased with this hotel. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. Lots of wonderful restaurants / metro within walking distance. Excellent maid service, quiet rooms and attentive/friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

We attended an embassy reception for a cousin's decoration for service to the Republic of Poland. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom and Washington was beautiful.

The bed was comfortable and the front desk staff were helpful. The heater was noisy and we couldn't control the fan.

Nice hotel in excellent location. Only couple blocks from Metro, movie theatre, and restaurants.

The Hilton Garden Inn was centrally located in Arlington and perfect for a family visit. Large room with adjustable king bed, attractive furnishings, warm welcoming lobby. Hotel restaurant was expensive for breakfast so we went elsewhere. Affordable rate was welcome in the high priced D.C. area. Loved the large exercise room!

The hotel desk clerk. The restaurant. While the hotel was generally a very good value in a nice location and clean, comfortable room, do not eat dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was mediocre to terrible.

The hotel was very nice, comfortable beds, clean, nice appoitments. The buffet breakfast at 13 was pricey but there are several cafes nearby. Hotel is 2 blocks from Metro"

comfortable room clean and rooming. the bathroom was large enough that even you can do ALL your dressing in there. BUT there bath soap is not that good for me, its makes my body too dry. But over all the room is pleasent to stay.

The location, the secure parking, tand the lovely bedrooms. It was further away from our location then I had thought. It exceeded my expectations. Truly a lovely visit. Arlington is a beautiful area. The secure parking was worth the small fee charged. Wish we could have had the time to try out th free continental breakfast, the dining room looked inviting.A definite for returning.

"The top things about this hotel are: location (close to the Metro, a movie theater, police station, restaurants, bars), parking is $10, nice exercise room, rooms are well insulated/ quiet, fridge in room, free snacks and Starbucks' coffee in lobby, and comfortable rooms. It is a great hotel if you are looking to save money. It is very convenient to get to the touristy areas of DC via the Metro. Room was clean (something I am very picky about)."

The Hilton Garden Inn Arlington was pretty much what you would expect from a Hilton hotel. The room was clean, fairly large - although we did have a disabled accessible room which you would expect to be bigger. The room even had a bed which allowed you to alter the firmness of the bed so i gave it a go. The first night i had a comfortable sleep, the second night i woke up to a sore, stiff back and noticed that the maid must have reset the bed setting to soft when i need a firmer mattress setting. Pillows were like a bean bag and not at all comformatble but overall i would recommend someone to stay at this hotel. The metro is within a 5 minute walk which was handy.
