It was very comfortable and quiet. Parking was quite expensive ($26 per night). Great location in downtown Philly, near the Reading Terminal Market and Convention Center. Clean, comfortable room, very friendly staff.

Staff was very courteous and professional, escpecially the woman who checked me in (I believe her name was Markita). The facilities were surprisingly nice, given the location. Overall, a very good experience

Upon checking in we were told we were not registered at the hotel and we were not there the previous or following week, turns out our name was put in incorrectly, but nonetheless the front desk attendant was not very helpfull. 10th floor grill graet food great view waiter Harold best in the business great conversation. Will return only to visit Harold.

Close to everything that we did, plenty of room in the fridge for our own drinks, great AC, and good beds.

Conviently located near historic sites in Philadelphia. Beds were small and parking was horrible - it was almost $30 a night to park. The hotel inside was clean, although the layout was very confusing and the beds were small and very firm. We had to pay almost $30 a night in parking, which really shocked me. The hotel did not offer any discount or validation for guests. The food at the restaurant was good, if not a little overprice (breakfast) but the waitstaff was very slow and not very attentive. The hotel is conviently located nearly historic sites in downtown Philadelphia, but I would recommend it for business travelers only, due to its location one block away from the Philly Convention Center.

We were invited to a family party near Philly and decided to extend the weekend. We were looking for a place to stay that wasn't far from the attractions and found it. Had a little bit of difficulty finding the hotel parking garage, (there is a flat fee that is added to your room rate). All the attractions were within walking distance (5-8 block walk), so I also had a vacation from driving. Sleeping comfort OK, but beds were soft. Fitness Center was small, but they are increasing size. Staff helpul and polite.Overall a good buy for the money.

the hiltongarden inn in philadelphia was a very nice hotel for the money.the rooms were clean and the staff all around was very nice and helpful. the location was perfect for anyone who had to be in midtown philly for any reason, business or pleasure, chinatown and convention hall is right outside your door. my only grip was the bar did not have favorable hours, open too late and close too early,so bring your own. lots of ice and soda. bar drinks are expensive, duh!visit philly quite often and stayed at most hotels. this is definitely in my top five.

We liked the location for the historical sites. The cable TV did not work in our room and we only had 5 channels. Location was great and the room was great besides the TV situation. Right next door to reading terminal market.

This is, without a doubt, one of the friendliest downtown hotel staffs I've ever encountered. The hotel is clean, well-kept and well-located, and check-in and check-out quick and efficient. Rooms are quiet, well-ventilated and comfortable, and totally insulated from downtown traffic noise due to the parking garage between the hotel rooms and the street level. All in all, a superb place to stay, well-worth the money.

The Hilton Garden Inn initially was very clean, comfortable, and inviting...until the morning of my checkout. I made a pot a coffee and upon taking a sip I noticed something weird on my nice clean lips...LIPSTICK that didn't belong to me. I spoke with the manager upon my departure, shared with him my findings, asked for nothing BUT for people to do their jobs...wash the mugs properly OR JUST use disposable items. OVERALL I was very impressed with the comfort theme...BUT what a turn off with the lipstick that didn't belong to me. I live in Indianapolis, one of the Indy news stations did an undercover show on simply How do maids clean coffee makers? The findings were horrible, you actually saw maids drinking coffee out of the actual coffee pot, maids wiping out the mugs with washcloths, maids rinsing out the mugs and coffee pots and just replacing them on the coffee maker/tray...SO it made me wonder how the pots/mugs at the Hilton Garden Inn are cleaned. I loved the Hotel, but will NEVER make coffee in my room again. NEVER!!! I wonder how everything else is cleaned...or not.

The hotel was in right area to visit the historic places. We could get a bus a block from the hotel that only cost a $1 and nothing for seniors. The hotel was very nice. The only thing that I could say wrong was, the carpet in my room looked clean but when you walked in your bare feet the bottoms of your feet was dirty. I don't know if this once was a smoking room and the carpet was no cleaned. I know the hotel went non-smoking in July and maybe this carpet was not done. But otherwise the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there and wourd go back to that hotel again. Audrey K.

I love the Hilton Garden Inn for the location first of all. I love their upgraded rooms with the flat screen televisions and comfortable beds/bedding. The only thing I find fault with every time I'm there is the hotel staff who are not very accommodating and not consistent. One time I stayed there, I was the hotel staff checked into whether a room was available so I could check in early, this last time I was there, they didn't even ask my name or check to see if something was available earlier than usual. I found their handling of guests inconsistent when each guest was essentially doing the same thing (checking in or out). I don't know if youth has anything to do with it but I know good customer service and the hotel staff (the ones behind the desk) are just mediocre. The people who serve as concierge or bell people, however, they are called are always friendly and efficient. Hope Hilton will spend the time and send these employees to training and fast!

there wasn't any parking!! i had to park down the road in the convention center garage. that should have been highlighted.

The room was large and comfortable. At the price I was suprised that you had to pay full price in a parking ramp. We decided to eat in their main dining room and the service was extremly slow. About 20 min to take our order and 45 more to get our food. Other wise every else was very nice.

The beds were out of this world. Couldn't get our van in the Garage, had to park off site. Very nice helpful staff, clean rooms, prompt service. Great restaurant with incredible view from 10 floor. The foam mattress beds were superb. Fridge and micro wave in the room. My only complaint is that the garage couldn't handle a business van ( not a big one ). So we had to go around and around trying to find a parking garage. Went to about 10 before we found an open lot that took us for $ 35.00 a day.
