Used this hotel post-cruise. Pre-cruise hotel we stayed in the Gottic District of Barcelona (central location and hot-spot of the city). Post-cruise chose hotel with good ratings located next to beach. Wasn't dissappointed! If you want extreme nightlife stay in downtown. If you desire smaller crowds, beach access, mall-type shopping and dining, conveniences similar to "back home", very easy access to the metro system taking you anywhere in Barcelona you want to go then this hotel will be perfect!! We enjoyed both locations for different reasons!!

Easy access to metro, clean, modern and friendly. Friendly staff. Beds were very comfortable and a clean, modern atmosphere. sleek design, wood floors, Italian fixtures were excellent.

Stayed here after spending the week in central Barcelona close to Las Ramblas. Wanted to stay my last couple of days away close to the sea. Although this hotel is not centrally located it is however easily accessible by metro and the hotel itself is extremely nice; and the staff most professional. Amenities were outstanding and you actually get American channels on TV (a plus after a week of just watching CNN!).

Newer and well appointed hotel. Very clean room. Extremely helpful staff. Not very close to places of interest. This was a lovely hotel. Maybe not 5 star but definitely a 4 star quality hotel. The room was extremely clean and well kept. The bellman was especially helpful in showing us (on a map)where we could find the points of interest. He even pointed out the bus and metro system. He hurried to find an umbrella for us when he saw that we didn't have one. The hotel was located in a business area and we felt very safe there. The only negative was the distance from the city's points of interest. There were other parts of Barcelona where we did not feel quite as safe. We didn't eat at the hotel so I cannot comment on that.

Front desk staffwas among the best I've encountered-went above and beyond the entire stay. Phone calls were extrememly expensive. Best front desk staff--they helped with directions, gave us maps, lost luggage, problems with bill, all with a smile and with exceptional service.

The room and the meal package. On Barcelona outskirts but with Metro and other transportation not a hindrance. The room was very nice and we purchased the executive meal plan which included a breakfast buffet and drinks (alcohol and otherwise)and light fare in the late afternoon early evening-well worth it considering the three of us would have spent much more at a restaurant. Even though hotel close to ocean and not conveniently located to attractions-not a hindrance as transportation options make it easy to get around.

English speaking personnel, very clean place. None. We were pickpocketed outside the airport on our way to the Hilton. We were left with no money on us. The reception desk was kind enough to let us use their desk phone to call American Express to wire us money. They were very understanding & helpful.

Wonderful view. Room decor and amenities were superb. Staff was very helpful. Would have liked a slightly bigger room. Located in a lovely part of town and readily accessible by public transportation, this hotel has superb decor and a wonderful ambiance. A plus is the shopping/dining center across the street and the beach within one block.
