The Hilo Hawaiian Hotel, located on beautiful Hilo Bay, is only two miles from the airport and to the center of town. The rural city of Hilo is surrounded by lush tropical rainforest, stunning natural wonders, and yards of gorgeous beach. The hotel features an outdoor pool, expansive sundeck, a gift shop, florist, complimentary parking, ice and vending machines, and a laundromat. Massages can be arranged at the front desk. Services available to guests include a 24-hour front desk, late checkout, laundry and valet service, porters, wake-up calls, and safe deposit boxes. Banquet facilities are also on offer.

The Queen's Court serves American cuisine in a casual setting. Enjoy a Sunday champagne brunch and specialty buffet dinners in the convenience of the hotel restaurant. What are your breakfast options?: Our QueensCourtRestaurant located in our lobby serves breakfast from 6:30 am to 9:00 am with an ala carte menu (with varying prices) as well as a breakfast buffet running at $15.25. There is also a restaurant at the hotel adjacent to us, as well as Ken’s House of Pancakes about a mile drive.
What transport is available to get around?: There is no public transportation. Renting a car is your best option.
What can I do nearby?: Down town Hilo is located 1-2 miles from the property where you will find historic buildings, the TsunamiMuseum, restaurants and local shops. There is also the local farmer’s market down town with a larger one on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Waterfalls are a 10 minute drive from the hotel, LiliuokalaniPark is right next door to us. There are a number of botanical gardens, beach parks, and waterfalls to view and enjoy near and around our property here. There is also an activities desk located in our lobby that sells all the tours the island has to offer, such as horseback riding through Waipio valley, helicopter rides over the volcano and ways to hike to the lava as well.
