Located on the west coast of Tasmania, Strahan is a beautiful charming port on Macquarie Harbour. Gateway to Tasmanian World Heritage wilderness, Huon pine forests nearby accessed via the Gordon River cruises or the West Coast Wilderness railway, both highly recommended whilst visiting Strahan. The property is located in the main street of this little village and offers a range of beautifully appointed cottages and terraces.

Part of several different styles of accommodation, this is great alternative with Harbour views. Suitable for Self drive market, excellent experience. SS1108.

The Executive Harbour view rooms offer lovely views over Macquarie Harbour. Rooms are of medium size (split level) and are well maintained. Iron, ironing board and hairdryer in every room. Excellent alternative. Rooms are only a short walk to the town centre.

Variety of dining options are available at Strahan Village including a restaurant bar with nice views overlooking the town, a bistro and bar keeping with he old traditions, a fish cafe or a wine and cheese tasting promoting the local Tasmanian produce.

2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 251 kms to the airport (launceston), 300 kms to the airport (hobart), Centrally located, Close to the beach.

What are your breakfast options?: In regards to breakfast, we can offer our full buffet breakfast which is open from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. The full buffet breakfast is $22.00 per adult or the Continental option is $16.00 per adult. There is also Banjo's located along the waterfront which does have a breakfast menu available.
What can I do nearby?: In regards to attractions, we are able to offer the following: West Coast Wilderness Railway, Gordon River Cruise, and Bonnet Island Experience.
Do you have internet?: We do not have any internet in our rooms at the Strahan Village; however, we can offer Wi-Fi in the View 42 Lounge area. You can purchase a card from reception for $10.00 which lasts roughly an hour, and you don't have to use this all at once. We also have coin-operated ADSL machines which cost $2.00 and will last approximately 15 minutes.
Do you provide parking?: There is a parking spot assigned for all in-house guests.
