four of us shared a room and we had no problem. We were close enough to go to the casino and still far enough away to have peace and quiet at night. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The staff was also very nice. There is a grocery store right across the street which was very useful, and there were resturants close by as well. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilltop Inn.

"This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. In our room the carpet was wet, it smelled so bad like mold, the box spring was broken so the bed was part on the floor, the drain in the shower didn't drain, our room was never cleaned one day. Yuck! don't stay here BEWARE."

The lobby was beautiful and the people at checkin and out were very nice.The rooms were clean as well as the pool area.The dryer did not seemto dry to well but overall it was a nice place to stay.

"The hotel was perfect for our stay in Niantic/New London area. The room was very clean and well taken care of. When needed, the front desk personnel were very helpful and courtious. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."

room assigned was being worked one, changed rooms; staff nice, but soda machine broken and not labeled as such, offered no refund. signs of mold starting in bath area. food cooked for breakfast was all overcooked. comfortable room overall. enjoyed our stay overall. easy on/off highway access. not told to plug in refrigerator on arrival. glad to have coffee maker and supplies in room. comfortable beds and pillows!

"The staff at this hotel was friendly from the moment I arrived. The room itself was large and nicely furnished. The amenities the hotel had to offer were great as well. The outdoor pool was very clean and relaxing, the free full breakfast was very good as well. They also offer high-speed Internet throughout the property as well as an in room movie service. The hotel is just minutes off of the highway and is very close to the beaches and casinos in the area. Overall the hotel was great and I would recommend it to future guests"

We were in Niantic for a wedding. The hotel was very nice and conveniently located. Breakfast was excellent. However, we spent 3 days at the hotel and on the last day there they never cleaned the room. Usually they ask if you want clean towels but no one even came in the room that last day. Other than that the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly.

pool was very dirty asked them to clean it and it was never done. Town closed at 9:00

"better to sleep in the car. Place was dingy, carpets worn, received last room on long corridor so was put next to side entrance where every degenerate was smoking. needless to say room reeked. Bed was awful, bathroom ok.best westerns quality over the years has clearly decreased. once is enough, never best western again"

"the hotel on the outside doesn't look all that bad however when you enter the lobby and look around dirty carpeting, lousy fake fountainbeds are deplorable, springs coming through. this hotel is in desparate need of refurbishing. the continenal breakfast and eating area filthy, stale muffins like day old shelf life. for the money we spent on this room i will not go to any best western"

"telephone reservations was first hint this place was shabby.Stuck to everything. Dirty. Fan did not work in bathroom, tub didn't drain, difficult to flush...what else is there?Rewrapped (used) plastic cupsSignage on road unlit so hard to find...especially in the rain.Ghastly experience"
