Convenient, clean, friendly. A family owned facility that reflects a desire to please.

will visit again ... excellent - hot showers, great breakfast, milk and cookies, internet, location OK, great service

Young friendly staff who was helpful and friendly. This is a typical hotel for a small college town community. The staff was young (and in our case very new as it was her second day at work) but worked hard at making our stay pleasant.

Location. Unless is renovated, avoid at all costs. This hotel is old, cheap and not worthy of two stars. I would strongly suggest that unless the place is fixed up (new interiors, new mattresses, etc.), that all travelers expecting a hint of comfort should avoid this hotel.

Late check out. Continental breakfast - too early, not enough food.

Comfortable bed and furniture. Bad workout equipment. The Hilltop is very pleasant-clean, the rooms are large enough, nice shower, magnifying mirror (nice detail), quiet andhas a nice view of the town and generally just fine. Comfortable. Friendly helpful staff.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Poor communication with the staff.

Very friendly staff and lots of perks.

Three words: fresh baked cookies. Also the staff was fabulous. The hotel was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Location. The carpet in the room was dirty. Our dog ate some type of food left over on the floor. I don't think the hotel is very old but it has changed ownership several times. It isn't very upscale at all. At breakfast an overweight woman in her late 20's ate in the lobby in her pajamas and dirty bathrobe.

The proximity to the university was great. Would have liked the continental breakfast open later than 8am.

Great location, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere. In room, carpet needed cleaning; fridge needed defrosting.

Great hotel. The fridge smelled like Chinese food. Very nice to take your kids. The swimming pool and hot tub were great. The had a great breakfast in the morning, snacks at other times. Definitely worth the money.

Friendly staff and 24hour pool/hot tub. Outdated, a little dirty, breakfast not that good. The staff was friendly, the hotel didn't leave much of an impression. The lobby is nice, location is convenient and the pool is open 24 hours. However, it is definitely time to update the decor, do some deep cleaning and re-think the hot breakfast.

I stayed here for a visit to Pullman and WSU and was very impressed with this motel.I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet, and a great location (close to campus and town).

It is nestled on a hill next to a cemetery and very quiet. The floor of my 2nd floor room had spongy spots and would shake the furniture as I walked by. An overall nice place I'd stay in again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk person was very professional and accommodating. The reason we reserved this hotel was because it had an indoor pool. When we got there, it was out of order. My kids were not happy. The hotel is a little older, not very up-to-date. We reserved this hotel because of the pool and continental breakfast. The pool was out of order when we arrived. My kids were very unhappy, as they were looking forward to the pool. The front desk person was very professional and called another hotel to make us reservations for that night, so we could enjoy their pool. Kudos to the friendly staff. You made my kids (and me!) Very happy.

We loved the location of this hotel. I enjoyed using the treadmill in the exercise room. At the time of our stay, the pool/spa facilities were out of order. This was an attractive, clean hotel right on the edge of town. The staff was very courteous and responded to all of our requests. A buffet breakfast is served, but it was not very elaborate. We were impressed by the warm cookies and milk served in the lobby in the evening.

Clean, well kept. Pet policy.. a little expensive for a 'modest' fee. Why not a deposit or credit card guarantee, rather than a blanket policy. Nice hotel, friendly staff.
