This boutique country retreat rests on a hillside of the Taupiri Ranges, which are near the main tourist route. Guests staying in the Hillside Hotel and Nature Resort Hamilton will be able to enjoy views that reach all the way to the central plateau and Mt. Ruapehu. The property adjoins a 300 acre private native forest conservation reserve in the midst of the 2300 acre Hillside Station.
Ample off-street parking is available for guests driving to the Hillside Hotel and Nature Resort Hamilton.

The Hillside Hotel and Nature Resort Hamilton’s architecture was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright and the Arts and Crafts interiors pay homage to the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Original artwork by Meryl Graham is featured throughout the property. Food from the hotel’s on-site restaurant is characterized by local produce, well-conceived flavors, heritage influences, and geographic sensibility, and the menu is comprised of contemporary New Zealand dishes.
