Transportation:
Coming from Hobart, the airport or the North West coast, follow the main highway, becomes Bathurst street into Launceston. At approx. the 5th set of traffic lights turn right into Elizabeth st follow it all the way up the hill 6 blocks and we are on the right in Arthur st (Elizabeth turns into Arthur st when you cross Welman st).

Highbury is walking distance to - Inveresk Art Gallery and Museum, Tasmanian Design Centre, many classic churches, Georgian and Victorian buildings, the City Park, the CBD, many cafes and restaurants, and the Roman Baths. The Cataract Gorge walk and chair lift is not to be missed at any time of the year. Launceston is the perfect base to explore the Tamar River and wine region, Low Head, Cradle Mountain, Ben Lomand and nearby historic townships of Evandale (markets every Sunday), Longford, Perth & Westbury.
