The hotel is not so far from the city center, there is a metro 10 minutes walking and you are in the center in 30mn more or less. The room was very cheap as we went during Christmas but unfortunately the restaurant/cafeteria was closed. The personal was very helpful and for Christmas they offered us a bottle of champagne...I really recommend the High Tech Nueva Castellana Hotel Madrid.

The hotel is outside town and should have more facilities, missing a gym or swimming pool.Seems to be more as a stop gap for local buisnessmen.

The rooms are excellent, but the location of the hotel couldn't be worse. It's not true that it's 7 min from the airport. It's at least 15-20 min, and it's far from the metro. It's located in an industrial area, really ugly. But the worse thing that happened during my stay was the horrible shuttle service, that made me wait more than 1 hour at the airport. I called the hotel many times and had booked the service in advance. And when I arrived, they didn't ask for apologise and said that it would be better to wait for the shuttle than pay 20 euros for a taxi!!! I said that if they cannot provide a good service, it would be better not to provide then.

The High Tech Nueva Castellana Hotel Madrid is just amazing. I got a room for 75 EURO per night when it's clearly worth a lot more. However, it took me about half an hour to get from the hotel to the center of Madrid with a bus (and it took me only 10 minutes from the center back to the hotel with a bus... very weird...).

It is not so pleasant the fact that you can see the other person in the bathroom because of the glass wall. It is not fair the fact that the employed at the check in asked me for "some kind of credit card". I travel without credit card for my choice, and i pay alwais "cash", so he nearly won't give me my room because i don't have credit cards with me.

Although the High Tech Nueva Castellana Hotel Madrid is very nice, it is too far from the city. It took almost an hour every time we wanted to go to the center of Madrid. You have to take a taxi, bus, and metro. All of this added expenses that I did not expect.

Excellent hotel!!! I would DEFINETELY return to the High Tech Nueva Castellana Hotel Madrid. Rooms are NEW, quite, and offer modern amenities like flat TV and has an owesome shower. The hotel offers free internet access and shuttle service to the airport and to the metro. If for any reason the shuttle is not available, there is a bus stop 3 blocks from the hotel and is just 10 minutes away from the metro.
