This beach hotel is located in Kantenah Bay, Riviera Maya, one hour south of Cancun International Airport, and 25 minutes away from the renowned Mayan ruins of Tulum.
Facilities
Guests are welcomed in a lobby with a 24-hour reception service at this beach hotel. This is a 5-star all-inclusive resort featuring 42 suites with an ocean view, 24 on the second floor and 18 on the first floor. It is a secluded adults-only property, perfect for couples and singles alike. There are restaurants and bars (drinks available almost anywhere in the property). For more private dining options, the 24-hour room service is part of the generous all-inclusive programme. There is also a laundry and a dry cleaners, fax, telephone and Internet access, car rental, a shuttle service to Playa del Carmen and helicopter transfer to and from Cancun International Airport. The beach hotel also has a hotel safe, games rooms and a disco, the Vida Loca.
Rooms
The resort features 42 suites located in two buildings stretched parallel to the beach providing all suites with direct beach access. 24 guest rooms are available as second floor oceanfront suites, while the other 18 rooms are available as first floor oceanfront swim-up suites, which are connected to the artificial river that leads to the swimming pool and the swim-up bar. All suites are equipped with 1 king-size bed, safe deposit box, hairdryer, private en suite bathroom with a shower and a bath, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. In-room amenities also include a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, DVD, radio and a CD player. Moreover, they have a minibar with beer, water and soft drinks refilled daily, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, and bathrobes upon request.
Sports/Entertainment
The resort has a unique beachfront outdoor swimming pool with a lazy river connected to all first floor swim-up suites, a huge beachfront hot tub, private sandy beach, daily activities and beach sports, beach chairs, water mattresses and towels. Refreshments are available from the poolside snack bar. Guests can work out in the gym during their stay and pamper themselves with a massage treatment (fees apply). The property's guests also have full all-inclusive privileges at the neighbouring El Dorado Seaside Suites, which includes a sauna, steam bath, biking, tennis courts, kayaks, non-motorised water sports and daily entertainment activities and sports including diving classes in the pool (additional fees apply to the latter). These, however, must be enjoyed fully clad.
Meals
Nude breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the La Vista a la carte, restaurant which offers a wide menu of international specialties and continuous food service between 6 am and 2 am. There are also two bars, C'est la Vie and Moonlight, one cafe, Hora del Te, and a swim-up bar. The property's guests have full all-inclusive privileges at the neighbouring El Dorado Seaside Suites, which includes 3 bars and 3 a la carte restaurants. These, however, must be enjoyed fully clad.
