Overnight stayThis is the 5th time I have stayed in this hotel . I do think it is a bit expensive for an overnight stay however I want the same standard as I have in my house and I get this in this hotel. It is family friendly, clean and you are left to do what you want. Thje staff are professional and the breakfast is very good.

I and my wife stayed one night (15/1/2009) and had a very comfortable visit . Double room on ground floor near the pool was spotlessly clean and comfortable and ( booked via [website]) very reasonably priced.Breakfast was buffet-style and was quite good-fair choice but hot food a bit incinerated-however coffee was excellent. Despite some horrendous reviews on this site we were vvery happy with our stay overall.

The hotel staff were most obliging letting us check into our room early. Nothing was too much trouble and the facilities and standard of accomodation was excellent

WxcellentWhat a fantastic experience. The first room I was given was opposite the air con and they moved me with no questions. The next room was a bit small but good enough for a week. The bathroom needs a bit updating . Please take the horrible bath's out and put showers is! I cant fault the rest.

I have stayed at herons' Reach on two other occasions on golfing weekends. The hotel decor now appears tired and lacklustre and in need of a major refurbishment. The bathrooms are very dated with pale green baths and old style vanity units. The edges of the bedroom carpets are fraying and the televisions are positively ancient. All the above did not detract from a very pleasant stay and would not hesitate to recommend.

we stayed at this hotel approx 5years ago and decided to revisit because of its location and facilities. However on our return visit we found the hotel requiring a substanial refurb. The rooms, bar and restaurant are somewhat outdated and could have benefitted from a good cleaning at least. However it did not distract our stay.

Heron's Reach HotelThoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Nice to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Blackpool town centre. Used pool and sauna both of which were good, buffet breakfast had ample choice. We stayed on a warm sunny day and were able to sit outside bar sixteen overlooking the golf course, would have been better had there being more staff on this bar as was really busy. We thought the hotel was good value for money, offered good service and would definately stay here again if in Blackpool.

A potentially great hotel, but the details were not managed well. The crockery and cutlery were not very clean, and at breakfast the bowls abnd plates were still wet, and dirty.

the room was not a normal standard Devere room. The room was shabby and the bathroom needed to be updated. The food was ok at the time of eating but that night I was ill due to suspected food poisoning.

Quick Break AwayThis hotel was much more than we expected. This was our first trip to Blackpool for many years. Blackpool was not looking at it's best at this time of year, the hotel though was superb.

Very good: Hotel, location, accomodation and accomodation. Not so good: ordered room service - 2 dinners. Arrived cold. Even the bramley apple pie was frozen and not cooked. Was not offered any reduction in price paid or refund
