It's very old,and very musty. It's on station ..The bed. No soap.No hot water..and all this in a capital modern city ..

The location is the Kuala Railway Station one stop from KL Sentral which has fast rail to KLIA fast bus to LCCT Sepang and adjacent monorail. The NICE luxury bus terminal is next to the lobby with departures to Pebang and Singapore every two hours. Rooms are good,clean with ensuite. Excellent value especially for families or small groups.

Not a convenient hotel for wandering around KL but great if you are using the metro/train system. It's possible to walk to Central Market and China Town but they are not easy walks coming back at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room clean - no top sheet provided just a blanket - this may put some people off. The echo inside the very large station building did cause a bit of noise when people were coming home late at night but I didn't hear trains. Would I stay there again ? Yes, for short trips and one night stays.

The room I was given was deplorable, the bathroom was scummy and the carpets desperatly in need of replacing. I was VERY disapponted.

I really like this hotel - it has character. Clean but some things - liek carpets in halls - a bit worn. It is in 'old' rail station - trains still stop right outside the hotel - not nosiy though. It used to be the main Central Station - thats now one station further away. The price is excellent - I guess if the place was modernised/refurbished it would'nt stay cheap, and development would also take away the old world charm. Location is excellent (for me)...can walk to Central Market and China Town. Under cover walk too. Walk to Lake Park area and many attractions - bird park etc. Mosque nearby.

The room size is good for a 2 persons stay. The hotel needs a new paint in order to enhance the uniqueness of the facade. Should have a complete range of towel i.e face, hair and body towels. Need also a better lighting at its reception and restaurant.

My family like the hotel because its a place where you can conveniently stay (as it is near places of interest specially for children) and very educational too. Though it may not have the sophisticated facilities as you can experience in modern hotels however having such touch of the past makes my children more excited and have fun.

A nice little hotel for an overnight, budget stay. Room was clean and cool. Bed comfortable. A good location, right beside Kuala Lumpur train station (NOT KL SENTRAL)and a few minutes walk to Pasar Seni Lrt station and China Town. Limited facilities so would not stay for a long time but would consider again for 1/2 nights.

It's faded and jaded, but very good value for money. Right inside the old station, it is easy to get to the central station on the commuter train. For this price, you are unlikely to find anything much better in KL.

The Heritage is a grand old stone building and the interior still displays the form of its former glory which could be reserected with correct presentation and modernisation. I was dissappointed however that only one sheet was supplied for the budget booking I used. I wasn't game to use the blanket without a sheet so slept uncovered with the aircon off.

This hotel is very budget - but I enyoyed my stay, the only I would recommend you definitely don't do and that's use the lobby toilets like I did. You may get a bit of a shock of the cleanliness. Otherwise the room was clean, there's no phone in the room, and no lift to the third floor if you have alot of baggage bear this in mind. I would stay here again though.

Almost acceptable as a budget hotel. A very run down ediface with a slap of paint in the rooms. Little other maintenance appears to be undertaken. No top sheets provided, just blanket. Bathroom sink leaked all over your feet. No hot water. Positive - aircon worked well in room.

The hotel room was scrupulously clean with no insect problem as is so common in budget hotels in Kuala Lumpur. The room, and to a greater degree the common areas, are showing signs of age. The bed was not the best but didn't prevent sleep and the room had no refrigerator or safe but otherwise it was just fine. Despite proximity to both rail and road there were no problems with noise. For the price I paid I would certainly consider staying there again.
