Generally quality of hotel quite low. Not attractive - bit like a dormitory is some ways. No DVD player in rooms. They lent me one, and it wasn't screwed together and faulty. Lent me another and it didn't seem to work. Business rooms have a small plasma TV, but reception was bad on some channels, and no labels for DVD input ports. Shower nozzle broken. Bad signage on how to find rooms. Much better value for money elsewhere in Canberra.

The room that we were given was at the end of the long corridor which we had no problem with, thinking that it would be a quiet room but much to our surprise, it was very noisy from our neighbours.

We arrived at 1200 and needed to dress for an army function for 1300hrs. They could not provide us with a room and asked us to change in the toilets. We had our elderly parents aged 80 plus, who were also booked into the hotel. The woman on the desk did not appear to care and only after further request and complaint did they provide a dirty room for us to change in. The shower rose was immovable and water went all over the bathroom area. Also very noisy every morning at 6 am. due to trucks going up and down the driveway.

It's definitely NOT a 3.5/4 star hotel. Our room was at the back and it seemed more of a motel room than anything else. Breakfast was excellent, but a 4 star with no bed spread & bunker beds is not really our kind of previous experiences in accommodation. It's a bit far from everything, except if you are into golf. It was very disappointing.

Beautiful - calm, quite & cosy. Service wonderful - required baby cot and microwave. Without prior arrangement the girl at the reception managed that. Very friendly wait stuff...........

A pleasant hotel in a quiet location. The room was fine, except prefer bar of soap to the dispensers and very surprised that no shampoo was provided considering what we were paying. I realise the hotel was fully booked for the week but knowing that I would have thought the hotel would put on more staff for breakfast. The service was slow, tables not cleared quickly enough, spoons, forks, glasses ran out and we had to ask for replacements, it was very poor. On the Saturday one very pleasant woman was on by herself and she had to get one of the receptionists to come in and help.

We were disappointed with this stay. The bar/restaurant area was definitely understaffed with only one person attending to bar and dining patrons. The resultant uncleared glasses and delayed serving of a meal did nothing to change our perceptions. In our room, holes in the towels and a constantly running loo confirmed our decision not to book this hotel again.

Spacious room - Business suite - bathroom could have been cleaner - also fly screens and window tracks VERY dirty. Quiet location. Breakfast great.

A comfortable well run establishment with an excellent buffet breakfast. Easy to find with quick access to Canberra sites by car. We would stay here again.

Although old it was a reasonable facility. The restaurant was fine for the Friday night, but no too keen on the buffet for the Saturday and the future. Breakfast was quite good.

Very helpfull and friendly staff, evening meal was one of the best, so fresh, and the breakfast was a fantastic buffet with a hugh variety. Views of the golf course were very pleasant and if I played golf it would have been very close. Will be back and will take the family next time.

This hotel was a hostel type- large corridors and huge number of rooms. Filled with school kids and clubs. The swimmimg pool had only cold water. The hotel was a little old and very worn. It was a good breakfast.

Waiting in a queue for 20 minutes to be accommodated into the dining room for breakfast does not encourage return patronage.

The hotel was very busy during our stayb but staff did their best, especially Restauranrt Manager. Good breakfast. Spacious rooms. Will stay there again.

Spent 4 nights here and found the place very very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Its only a 5 minute drive to the centre of canberra or the airport in the opposite direction. If you prefer there is a bus stop out front to get into town. We were very impressed.

Had an enjoyable time. The staff were helpful, the meal good and the breakfast excellent. Sure the hallway carpets could do with replacement but the room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and the place was quiet. Would stay again for sure.
