Helnan Phonix Hotel is the largest, oldest and most famous hotel in the city of Aalborg. It combines the traditions of fine and classic hospitality of an first-class international hotel. It was built in 1783 as a palace to Brigadier William von Halling and converted into a hotel in 1853. The establishment, situated in the city centre, has maintained its charm and its elegant facade is renowned for being modern in historical frames.
