I was under the impression that all listed water sports were a part of my package and that was not the case. Scuba diving, jet skiing etc all cost extra. You can snorkel as part of your package though. The room was nothing fancy but I really like the mirrors and five way shower.

We are a couple in our early & mid-thirties. Everyone at the resort was very friendly, even the other guests. Most of the guests were older than us, but we had a great time getting to know everyone. We met couples our age as the day went on. Check-in was quick. The food was good (loved the local cuisine & Pastafari). The nude & prude beaches were very clean & the jerk chicken was amazing! The hot tub at night was VERY HOT (in a good way!) :o) It was a Disney World for adults, similar to a Garden of Eden. Definately will return next year and bring along some new friends! I'm having Hedo withdrawals at work, can't wait to go back!

We had a great time! The staff was great and so was the food. The resort was very clean and there were people constantly cleaning. The room was "a room" nothing special, but clean and comfortable. You can do as much or as little as possible.

just got back . we stayed 10 days feb 1 to feb 10 09.This was our second trip to hedo and they have unfortunately cut back on some areas in the resort. No linens on tables in main dinning room, no beach party on friday, no Jamaican resturant at night, much smaller selection at buffet, watered down drinks with small selection of top shelf brands (unable to make most martinis). Now the good stuff. The resort was very clean and staff were great. The food at the Italian and Japanese resturant was very good and the steak I had at the Italinan was among the best I have ever had ( we had just come from Boca Raton were we ate at Dondald Trumps Club ).The rooms were old but very clean and turned down twice a day. The beach was spotless and what we feel is the best location on 7 mile beach. We met a lot of very nice people there and will definately return. ( this resort has the highest repeat traffic in the carrib.)

This was our 17th trip to this resort. A great place to meet up with old friends and make new friends year after year. Can be as relaxing or as wild as you want to make it. Rooms are clean but nothing special. Food this trip was not good, but all trips before have been OK. Again, nothing special. We keep going back because of the people/friends that travel during the same time which is great. If you are open minded, this will be a trip you will never forget and want to repeat over & over.

Enjoyed all aspects of this hotel other than the fact that they only served draft beer - that was a problem for me. Everything else about the place was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful - rooms were comfortable and the beaches and pools were awesome.

We really enjoyed our first visit with HedoII. The activities to earn points for free rum was a lot of fun. The Entertainers were great. The only thing that I would have liked was to have the Jerk Chicken served at the nude pool at 1:00 or 2:00 instead 4:30. It interfered with dinner and ended up eating just too much good food. Love the blue diamond ring that we bought at the Jewelry store, salesman was really great.

the hotel and grounds are beautiful. this is not a new place by any means but it has been well taken care of.. we stayed in a garden view room on the nude side of the resort. this was our first trip to a resort that had the option of not wearing clothes and we were comfotable in about 2 minutes. the other guest were all friendly, the staff was always helpful. there was a slight shortage of towles at the pool, but they don't do laundry on the resort, its all done at another location and it wasn't a big deal. never did eat at the japanese place but pastifari was great. most of the time we just had the buffet which was far from burgers and fries. almost always some kind of fish and chichen dish with goat and ox tail thrown in other nights. i liked the fact that it wasn't just " american" food. i wasn't relly impressed with the beach..its not very big if that makes any sense. there are lots of rocky areas out in the water and not as much smooth sand. its still beautiful and i loved floating around in the ocean. we took the catamarans out a couple of times although it was rather calm we still had fun.. we also took the naked snorkle/catamaran ride to the caves, nice time. the theme nights were fun, but it was the slow season and not everyone played along.. those that did were fun to hang out with. one of my favorite thing is the water slide, wow! i could have gone down that thing a thousand times.we were all like a bunch of kids, you gotta do it! so i like the place. that was the first trip and i'm headed back in april

Our flight in was cancelled...we arrived at hedo at 7pm with 2 other couples on our bus none of our rooms were ready. Took another 30 minutes for our room after traveling 15 hours. Staff very rude. Staff who brought up our bags seemed very confused didn't know where to take us. Room had 2 twin beds instead of 1 king. Only 1 bath towel at a time. Always had to ask for towels everyday we were there. No hot water in showers! Bathrooms were disgusting! Buffet food always looked warm...never saw any ice to keep food cold...coffee always cold...food was definately nothing to write home about...I couldn't wait to get home! Rudest uncaring staff i have ever incountered...Stayed at Couples in Negril 3 years ago...beautiful!!! They spoiled you...never staying at hedo again.

Hotel staff was great, anything you need just ask! Not your typical resort, lush, green, jungle like grounds, but neat and pretty. Pack some footwear made for wet bricks, hills and not so clean sand. For the activities on the menu pack some party type PJ's or lingerie (ladies) and at least one night club outfit. Beachwear and casual wear for everything else or nothing at all. The rooms are nothing special, no frige, a/c not too cool! Very nice pools, try the slide. Food is good and plenty. Don't go single like me, go with a group because you'll have more fun! I've been to Rio de Janeiro 4 times and I thought H2 would be similar...NOPE! That's the reason I recommend a group trip to H2. The little buildings where your rooms are located through out the 22 acre resort are old so be aware of continuous maintenance going on. ENJOY!

This hotel has been well maintained with not even a ragged volleyball net on the property. The front desk service, towel service, waitstaff, bartenders, and maid service were exemplary. The hotel accommodated our advance emailed special request for room situation with no problem. The main dining room food leaves much to be desired with not a lot of true Jamaican fare; the western food (meats)always overcooked. The Reggae Cafe and Nude Food Bar served good made to order sandwiches and jerk chicken. We did not try the Japanese or Pasta restaurants, but heard good reports from those who did. About all you need at Hedo II is a large drink cup to avoid frequent trips to the bar. Be sure to pack one. If you smoke or read, bring your own because the gift shop is very expensive. We enjoyed the naturist beach, pool, hot tub and the bird sanctuary at Hedo II. We took a half day trip to Rockland Bird Sanctuary (near Montego Bay) where hummingbirds land on your hand to feed. If you like birds, this is a must.

Hedo 2 was incredible. Loved everything about this hotel. The only problem is fellow americans starting trouble. If you see an idiot hitting on your wife with a delta tattoo, make sure you tell him immediately to keep walking or he might threaten your life if you dont agree with the current war that is raging. The trip was AWESOME, leave the compound if you have a guide and see trelawny and market day in Falmouth. Jamaica is far safer than the U.S. First time to Hedo, but fifth time to Jamaica
