Both of the people on duty at the desk were exceptionally friendly and eager to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Bathtub floor was too slippery. We suggest non-skid tub floors. Overall, this was a wonderful hotel! This was because of the staff who made us all feel so welcome and comfortable. They even make meals for their mid-week guests (mostly business clients)! They are going to expand their cramped dining (breakfast and night-time snacks) quarters. Great place to stay in northeast Iowa!

I was 8 months pregnant at the time, so I may be biased, but I LOVED the pool. The mural on the wall was really neat and the water was warm. Great breakfast!

Hallways hot, it was smoke free but smelled as someone smoked.

Good value, friendly. Pillows were skimpy-would have preferred separate tables in breakfast area. I am thinking that this motel would draw a lot of repeat business among frequent travelers looking for a decent room at a reasonable price.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They only sold Pepsi products in machines not Coke. I enjoy staying at the Heartland Inn in Decorah. The staff is so helpful, and very nice. They are always welcoming, and when you travel and are on the road all the time. It's a nice feeling.

Good location, very accommodating, pool, delicious continental breakfast, comfortable rooms. Nothing. Very nice hotel, we received a room with a king size bed even though there were 4 of us staying there, and the staff were very quick to give us a room with 2 queens. We had fun at the pool and very much enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning. An excellent place to stay.
