We had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious. My children enjoyed the basketball hoop!

Liked the friendliness and the overall look of the room. Would recommend.

My husband and I came for a weekend away...The room was wonderful for the money and the hotel staff was wonderful...The only bad thing was the party going on in the next room. We would most definitely stay here again and have already made plans to do so. The room had such a 'homey' feel to it.

When I got to this hotel I thought I was at a resort because there is different building to it. The front desk staff treated me like a queen when I got there. They had a full hot breakfast and an evening social that was the excellent!!!!!!! Then when I got to my room I was amazed on how much room we had. There was even a fireplace in the room and at night it was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family and even pets too...

I like the way this hotel is nestled among trees. You don't feel like you're just off the interstate. The accommodations were excellent. We had 4 ladies in our group and the 2 level penthouse with 2 beds and 2 bathrooms was wonderful. Excellent full breakfast in the morning. I will recommend this hotel to others.

I'm not so much a clean freak ~ nor am I prone to only staying in 5-star properties ~ but you have to be kidding me with this one. The "kitchen" floor was dirty and stained. The entrance was filthy ~ would never have walked on the tile in my bare feet. The carpet was not only worn, but had the look that it was badly (badly) in need of a cleaning. The kitchen sink is chipped and stained. The bathroom? Please. It has apparently been so long since the bathroom floor was cleaned that -cobwebs- have actually formed behind the door at the baseboard. We traveled in Germany earlier this year and became familiar with hotels not having "top" sheets on the bed. We just didn't know they did it in Omaha, too. The bed had only a bottom sheet and a duvet (comforter). The hot tub wasn't hot. Nope. No kidding. My first clue should have been when we entered the pool area to find little ones -swimming- in the water. A ten year old offered, "The pool is warmer ..." And I'm sure that it was. We really wanted just a quick, fun, weekend get-a-way. Omaha was beautiful. The hotel was a real, real disappointment. "Hawthorne" is a subsidiary of the Hyatt chain, so I figured it was more than worth a chance. The only thing "Hyatt" about this property is a pillow with the Hyatt tree logo.

I really enjoyed my 2 night stay here. The beds/pillows were wonderful! I loved the room setup, that there are many different small ""villas"" with rooms, and that it accepts dogs!

Great for kids, plenty of space to move around, kitchen was great to have, area was quiet and safe. Had 3 large spiders in room during stay, did not provide wash clothes, did not clean room during stay. Overall met our needs. Great to avenue plenty of space for children. Clean room but a little out dated. Had spiders in room.

The exterior of this property could use a face lift, a little paint, new decking and cleaning of the cob webs. The hotel staff was great! The rooms were clean and very spacious. Not your normal cramped hotel room. They offered free hot breakfeast, with many things to choose from as well as a cocktail hour in the evenings (m-th). My kids only requirement for a hotel is that it has a pool. The pool is not much but it did the trick!

I am a business traveler and this is by far the dirtiest hotel I've stayed in. Toilet, faucets, stove, fridge, carpet with paint. I was scheduled for 2 nights. I'm checking out in a.m.!"

The hotel was clean, location was great and staff was very helpful and met our needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to the state on NE.

Great management/service, great breakfast and excellent stay! A bit older a facility, although well maintained. Although a bit older, a very nice facility. Had an excellent management and staff. Breakfast was genuinely great , beds and accommodations were just fine and comfortable.

Very good breakfast, excellant bed. Very clean suite. Wireless internet did not work in my room. Quiet location, close to interstate, nice suite and very comfortable bed. Internet wouldn't work in my room, manager tried to reset the modem, but still wouldn't work.

I've stayed here twice and both times the rooms have been very nice and accomodating.
