The staff was friendly. The free shuttle back and forth to the airport was convenient. Take the shuttle anywhere else in the city and it is about as expensive as a taxi. The morning breakfast was as advertised; hot and very good with a lot of variety. However, don't eat at the restaurant for lunch or dinner. The food is more tasty at the gas station next door.

Air Conditoner made noise all night, refrigerator didn't work. No manager on duty to discuss problems with. Carpet filthy. Towels and blankets extremely worn should have been thrown into the rag bag or thrown out. Breakfast only mediocore. Will never stay at another Hawthron Suites.

Not what I was expecting, but I guess it was adeguate for the price paid.

One front desk clerk was helpful. Manager did not keep his word about getting us transport to airport. We will never stay there again. Also, this hotel kept 2 dogs in an adjoining room, and there was dog hair throughout the hotel corridor. Hotel did not clean up area. We had to ask to be moved to another floor.

The only thing good about this hotel is the location, it is near the airport. The breakfast is ok, but you can go buy breakfast to avoid this hotel. The front desk was pleasant, but housekeeping had problems with extra towels. We had 4 rooms at this hotel and they were great with keeping us centrally located however I would not stay at this hotel again. Two of our rooms were smoking and they smelled horrible and the beds were very uncomfortable.

The hotel did not have a bar or restaurant. While it had wireless internet access, it had a single computer in the lobby instead of a business room. The staff was quite friendly, but the mini-suite lacked any easy chairs (it had one desk chair), the floor lamp had no on-off switch (apparently a previous guest must have absconded with the knob), and the alarm clock off button was not functional (it could be set, it worked, but it had to be unplugged to turn it off). Breakfast was good and the hotel location was convenient for my requirements. The cost was reasonable (below government rate). On my next Albuquerque business trip, I will investigate other hotel options first. Overall grade: C plus

It was cheap. Room had holes in the carpet. Hotel was not very well kept, however this should not be an excuse for being clean.

The hotel is having problems with the phone lines and I got wake up calls at 4:00 a.m., 4:30 a.m., etc, until I unplugged the phone. The other room in my group had similar problems. They need to upgrade their towels, and shampoo the carpets. Anything we needed the front desk and housekeeping were very prompt in meeting our needs."

Shuttle from train station and to airport. Couldn't get shuttle to public rail for balloon fiesta. Hye, Hawthorne Inn and Suites were a super duper time. Save for Yellow Cab Co. There being operated by a complete, despicable idiot, my visit to Albuquerque was wonderful. And it is located right next to a Fuddruckers!

This hotel is within 30 minutes to the airport, resturants, and attractions. The personnel were very helpful. Like I said, the service was good and everything was taken care of to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Close to the airport. Smoke detector went off all night, front desk person was no help. I will not stay at this hotel again. They lady had me go to the front desk in my pajamas to get a battery to fix the problem. When I got to the front desk, there were no batteries. I was told to go back to my room and climb up and pull the smoke detector off the wall, which I did. It still kept beeping. By 1:45AM I was tired of this problem and placed the smoke detector in the hallway until the morning when I placed it back in the room. There were no apologies, offer of assistance nothing.

The rate was reasonable. I was only staying for 1 short night and this was perfect for my needs.
