Hawley House (c1878) is a family home of three generations, accommodating guests in delightful individually appointed, spacious and original rooms offering fabulous views, spas, balconies and fireplaces. The property includes vineyards, internationally acclaimed water gardens and a 150ha wildlife sanctuary. Situated between 15 minutes from the Spirit of Tasmania terminal in Devonport, Hawley is centrally located for northern Tasmania touring. Hawley is animal friendly - pets are welcome by arrangement. What are your breakfast options?: Continental breakfast is included in our tariff. Full breakfast is $12.00 per person. Breakfast is served between 8:00 am and 9:00 am.
What transport is available to get around?: Public transport options are slim. Although there is a regular shuttle to Devonport, we never recommend our guests travel around Tasmania without a car. There are several tour companies that we recommend should guests like to go sightseeing without their own transport.
Do you have internet?: We have free wireless internet available in the common areas of the house such as the Drawing Room.
Do you provide parking?: Parking is available on the property.
How do I get there?: We are located on the esplanade at Hawley Beach. Hawley Beach is one hour west of Launceston and 20 minutes east of Devonport. The easiest point to navigate to on a map is Port Sorell. Once you reach the roundabout at Port Sorell, take the Hawley Beach turn and follow this for four kilometres around the beachfront. Our driveway is at the end of the road, past all the waterfront houses.
