The place was beautiful will stay there again and would recommend to friends. The only thing was some hair on floor in bathroom- called front desk and someone was there in less then 5 minutes and cleaned the bathroom to spotless and even ran the vacuum through the entire room. They took care of the problem quickly and were very gracious. Room and bathroom not dirty to start with. One of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. Beautiful.

Loved the location, room was a little musty but a air freshener took care of that. Otherwise it was a great weekend there. Do check out the rum tasting at the alma bar.

Beautiful Rooms! Beautiful Views! Great Pools! Their restaurant on site is closed on Sundays and Mondays, which disappointed us, but the hotel gave us a free shuttle to a neighboring restaurant which had incredible food! so, it made up for it.

Hotel was nice and overall clean except for my bathroom shower wall which still had hair on it I guess from the last guest who had stayed in my room. I had booked a room w/ a king size bed and garden view and I got two double beds and not much of a garden view more like a big tree blocking any kind of view. There menu selection wasnt too great, and very pricey aswell as there drinks. Stay away from the Alma Restaurant had dinner there the first night pricey, and small portions! Next day orded room service for breakfast and didnt even get syrup for my waffles. Then to top it off 18% gradtuity is already included, they dont really come around much the pool to see if you need another drink you have to hunt them down atleast in my experience. A $20 hotel fee is charged per night too, they should atleast have a continental breakfast where you can grab a cup of coffee. Overall yes very nice, but too pricey atleast for eating. Anyone whoplans to stay there I highly recommend on mm80 restaurant called Lazy Days excellent food, large menu selection, and resonable prices.....If I were to stay again atleast I have a better idea of local restaurants.

We love staying at Hawks Cay - the hotel is simply beautiful - the pool and lagoon were wonderful - we honestly did not want to leave!

The hotel is fairly isolated. If planning to spend most of your time at the resort, then it is fine. Otherwise, you have quite a drive to go anywhere. Also, if planning to spend your time at the resort, beware it is insanely overpriced.

The room did not have a coffee pot nor a laundry bag for dirty clothes. Had to purchase coffee at their restaurant. A $20 resort fee is added on to your stay. This needs to be made clear by Orbitz when you are booking a room online. You think you are getting one price and when you arrive you have to add $20. So the $144 rate became $164, plus the cost of coffee for two persons.

Attended friends wedding, quick waterside ceremony. It was hot (May) but the steel drum player and brides attendee were awesome. The concierge and the front desk personel were less than friendly if not impersonal and rude. The transportation staff, bellman, and housekeepers were upbeat, accomadating, and continuosly greeting guests with friendly good days and smiles. Salads and sandwiches at the Beach Grill were delicious. Dolphin trainers-awesome!

What an amazing view of the ocean! The tennis courts are fantastic- including the clay courts! We only stayed 4 days and wished we had stayed at least a week. We ran out of time to go kayaking and deep-sea fishing but, we spent a day bike riding, playing tennis, swimming with the dolphins, and driving to key west. There is so much to do here!

We found the Property well kept, clean and very attractive. For the Lower Keys it is one of the best resorts in my opinion. With two pools ( one being adult only, Tranquility area)& the Lagoon there were plenty of options to lay in the sun at whatever pace you want. Of course the marina was nice and the Swim w/the Dolphins pool was also available as well as any number of rentals. Over all nice time. I would recomend it.

Dining at the facility was very expensive. Buffet breakfast was $53.00 for two adults. Could not get a cup of coffee unless spending $3.00 (not even good). They charge $20.00 per day for gratuity, this was for car service, due to long waits we parked and walked to our car. This charge was a waist for many of us. Also, you are charged an 18% gratuity on bar and food tabs. The location was not convenient to restaurants and night spots.

A beautiful tropical hotel in an amazing tranquil location. The room was very contemporary and clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The pools and the lagunas were to die for.

I found the resort to be very accomadating. There was plenty of things to do without leaving the resort. The pool was nice, restaurants were good, service alittle slow, but acceptable. Transportaion availble to the restaurant ( golf cart, but a nice ride) Overall, very happy with the serices and accomodations . Would defineitely would tay there again.

I stayed for two nights. The room is incredibly cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The amenities are luxurious, like fluffy bathrobes and quality soaps. I wish I had my children with me, as they would have never gotten out of the infinity pool. There is a lagoon with a diving platform that looks very safe for snorkling. There is an upscale adult only pool. The restaurant puts out a great breakfast buffet, which is a little expensive, but worth it. There is a family of dolphins that you can swim with for a cost that is comprable to other dolphin swims in the area. The marina has everything you can think of, but it is pricey. I can't wait to go back, for a longer rest and actually stay at the resort and enjoy the property.

Hawks Cay is a great place for a family to enjoy some fun time together. The Resort was remodeled recently and it looks very nice and modern. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel staff is extremely corteous and friendly. However, we were very disappointed with the food. We've been there before and their food was excellent. Their menu now is very limited and the food doesn't live up to what seems to be the standard of the Resort. I hope they reevaluate their Food Department soon before we go back! We highly recommend it if you want to visit the Florida Keys!

The adult pool was adjacent to major construction. It was loud, dusty and the restrooms were located a long walk from the pool area. The menu was so limited at the property that we were disappointed. For the dollar, we weren't impressed and would not recommend this facility to anyone. Too high for what you get.

Hawks Cay on Duck Key was both beautiful and exotic. The rooms and the island is lovely. I liked that we were close enough to travel to Key West but far enough to feel like we got away from the crowd. The hotel offered every type of water sport, including snorkling, fishing, parasailing, and both adult and childrens pools. The resort offers something for everyone and you can't top the beautiful aqua waters of The Keys.
