Location Description:
Located at the gateway to Waikiki, the hotel is the ideal location for easy access to the Hawaii Convention Center, Waikiki, Ala Moana Shopping Center, or the business center of downtown Honolulu. Situated between the Ala Moana Beach Park, a local favorite to its right and world famous Waikiki Beach to its left, the hotel is just a short walk to the two best beaches in the Waikiki area. In front of the hotel is the Ala Wai yacht harbor where guests can watch the million dollar yacht races every Friday afternoon. For business travelers, the Hawaii Prince offers the easiest access to downtown Honolulu avoiding the heavy tourist traffic in the center of Waikiki.
Dining:
Famed for Contemporary Island Cuisine, the Prince Court is a subtle blend of the classic culinary techniques of East and West, prepared with fresh Island produce from land and sea. Spectacular views of Ala Wai Yacht Harbor and the island's beautiful sunset are a focal point from the restaurant's glass walls.

beach accessibiity is important-walk out of the hotel and you are on the beach-previous trips--beach chairs are sat out in the morning with umbrellas available for you all day. beach personnel took dring orders and brought them to you.the view was beautiful and breath taking. pay attention to first time visitors. need to orientate them to how to access towels for beach, swimming pools and restaurants in hotel etc, trolleys, shuttle services, and etc.

Great hotel near everything and without being in the noise Waikiki Star rating should be 3.5... Stayed there for three nights. Extraordinary views to the ocean, friendly staff and excellent location (near good restaurant and beaches). Hotels is old, compared to other hotels in the area, the building is like 20 years old, but it's kept in good shape.

The Hawaii Prince is a wonderful hotel, it is central to most everything. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to help you. The pool is wonderful the reason I marke as a good is only because it closes at 8 pm. The food in the hotel is of excellent quality, however it is a bit over priced. Overall this hotel is the place to stay, it is far enough away from downtown that there is no road noise, yet close enough to walk to shops and to the beach.

From check-in to check-out everything was wonderful! Great room on the 31st floor (complimentary upgrade) and all staff displayed warm Aloha spirit. This property exceeded our expectations and we will return.

The hotel Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki was a magnificant place. the view was awesome. All staff treated us as royality. The price is outstanding. The bed slept great with the new covers they are now using. (Down filled) Bell service, just fell all over theirself trying to be courteous. They got our rental cars, told us which shuttles to take which prices were best and to top it off the Restuarant upstairs was delicious and just as nice and courteous. Made some great friends among the staff. The pre cruise and post cruise experience was the best. wish we could say the same about the NCL cruise! Judy

I did three tours, pearl harbor, polynesian culture center, which was fantastic!! Also the Submarine boat tour which was a great spectactular experience!! Missing from hotel was a microwave oven. I could had used that for leftover food to heat up. Some people have medical urgencies and a microwave would make a stay at Hawaii Prince like a home away from home. That's just my opinion. Previous trips did include microwaves in room. Free Continental breakfast would be beneficial to guest.

Friendly staff. Most hourly staff could not understand English.

Hotel is located away from the beach & we'd to walk across the street to where Hilton is to access the beach. The room gets daily clean-up with a turn-down service in the evening. For privacy, the hotel is tops - didin't see many staff around during our stay. Basically, if you want peace & quiet, pick this hotel. Location-wise, it's pretty near to outside eateries. Food outlets in the hotel has a fantastic range of variety in their buffet spread. It's within walking distance to the Ala Moana Mall but we drove as parking is free there. In the hotel, self park cost us $15 each day...Valet is about $24

I appreciated the wonderful service, and friendly staff. When someone started smoking on my non-smoking floor, the staff immediately remedied the situation. The ONLY down side was that I really didn't know how much I would miss an actual beach front hotel...

From the moment we got there everyone was very friendly and helpful. Each employee we talked to gave us their undivided attention and helped us make the most of the trip. The room and view was excellent and would definitely return the the Hawaii Prince Hotel. This hotel is a little more expensive than most but the service, staff and facilities are worth the price.

Went there to Relax and Shop.... The service at the hotel was splendid could not ask for better service.. The Location to the shopping area was only a very short 5 Minute walk to the Largest Shopping Area in Hawaii... Dining outside of the Hotel was only a few doors away so we had a variety of dining options... The Hotel Lobby was also a very relaxing area and the swimming pool was superb

The rooms all had an ocean view, the hotel location was excellent for shopping and going to the beach. Front desk wasn't good, they would tease patrons after they've walked away. Not cool. Why don't they have a first aid kit?

The location of this hotel is perfect. Just off the beaten path but still close enough to easily get where we wanted to go. The room was amazing, the bed was the most comfortable I think I've slept in. The staff, from front deck to housekeeping, went above and beyond to make this part of our trip extra special.
