value for money helpful and friendly placestayed over and enjoyed my stay facilities were ok for a hostel and staff were nice to deal with.breakfast was not to my own liking but there was enough to eat, room was clean and tidy i was given a twin room even though booked a single but was not asked to share.showers and toilets were free everytime i needed them unlike some reviews on here?would stay again although i would recommend ear plugs as the corridors are noisy 1st thing in the morning due to the echoing of doors closing!i noticed women children and groups all staying and a would go again without a doubt! but dont expect a 5* hotel!

Haus HotelThe good points about the Haus were the food and the price. The rooms are cheap for Munich and the food was as good as it gets for the money. We paid 5 euro for a main course...you could eat as much as you liked, and the quality was very, very good. In fact the best value for money we found in Munich!However, we booked out the following morning because of the noise at night. It was 4am until the noise stopped. Our money was refunded without question, and we would have stayed longer if it had been quiet. It must be said that this is a young persons place. The atmosphere is good, but it was impossible to get much shut eye. Stop here if you like good food and can get by on a few hours sleep a night!

One of the staff said it smelt like a hospital... he wasn't wrong! But all in all, it's a cheap and cheerful base if you're in Munich on a budget. Watch out for groups of kids staying at the hostel congregating outside until 3am - they're harmless but noisy. The little bar/club downstairs (open to 1am) has to be seen to be believed - full of teenage Americans having their first drinks! The location's a bit awkward to find at first, but once you master the U-bahn and buses/trams, it's simple enough. If you're young enough not to mind being surrounded by kids, it's a decent enough option.

Majority of hotel's guest are groups of teenagers or students. It is perhaps more of a high quality hostel than a full blown hotel. However if you want a basic room at a low price, with a basic but all you can eat breakfast, then it represents excellent value.

There was a big conference in Munich at the time of my stay. So the hostel was the only option. The hostel was clean but basic. There was a school trip with about 100 16 year old kids there at the same time so the noise level was not good. Although, the children were well-behaved...they are still children. There is a disco every Monday thru Friday on the ground floor. So if you are looking for a quiet night's sleep, it may not be suitable. Other than that, the staff was very friendly, spoke very good english, and the location is close to lots of nice shops, restaurants, and public transport. They also provide free WiFi internet access in the lobby. About 20 minutes from downtown Munich and about 30 minutes from Airport via Taxi.

Breakfast was good, room was sufficient, and it was really easy to find with the information at the airport NOT with the directions from the internet site. I would stay here again!!

Hotel was in a good location close to tram and not far from the metro.Suitable for young travellers, has many good quality, comfortable rooms, we stayed during oktoberfest so all hostels around the area had a mark up in price but this was the cheapest at that time.Would recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable, short stay, with friendly staff and not too pricey!
