Welcome to the Harvest Guest House which has an enviable position on Edinburgh's beach at Portobello.Portobello is only a bus ride from the city centre! Every 10 minutes from early morning through until about 23.30 (night buses continue the service). Journey time 15 minutes depending on traffic. We are an established guest house with a loyal following enjoying much repeat business. The House itself is an early Victorian town house situated right on the promenade in Portobello, a charming and distinctive district of Edinburgh. Several of our guest rooms have fine views of the Firth of Forth and all of our rooms have wash hand basins, colour TVs and teacoffee making facilities. Local amenities are excellent and aside from the beautiful and clean beach include an amusement park, various restaurants and take-aways, sundry shops and traditional pubs..

Directions to Edinburgh East:By Car: From Edinburgh City Centre:Follow A1 to London Road, Portobello Road, Portobello High Street, after Portobello Town Hall turn left onto Bath Street, before reaching the sea turn right onto Straiton Place, we are no 33. From Outside of Edinburgh;When you approach Edinburgh by car you should follow the city bypass A720 South and then East, go on to the A1 and follow the road signs to Portobello (turn into Bellfield Street from Portobello High Street). Straiton place is at the foot of Bellfield Street and close to Portobello Swimming Pool). By Bus: From Princes Street (outside Jenners Marks and Spencers) take bus number 26, 15 or 129 to Portobello after about 20 mins you will be on Portobello High Street and ask the driver to let you off 2 stops after Portobello Town Hall at St Andrew Restaurants.
