this hotel is overrated, small rooms for 4 star hotel. overpriced, before i get back to my room. i have to take a lot of time thru traffic, the parking space was very poor. my rx8 car had a two dents that i didnt notice till i get home. old towels givin to us. so i requested a new one, darn im very disappointed, i dont want to chech in here anymore.

Great location - middle of the strip and easy access to monorail. We were at a convention at the Hilton --glad we saved $$$ and stayed at Harrah's. Food court nearby was tasty and reasonable. Carnival bar was fun! Piano bar was fun! Harrah's looks like old Las Vegas -- loved the nostalgia.

While I had no trouble sleeping, my mother did. She complained several times about other guests returning to their rooms at 3-4AM cursing very loudly. I heard this would be a problem when staying in the tower. Room service staff were very friendly and did their jobs well. Checking in was efficient and quick. When checking out I tried to do the express television checkout, and discovered I had been accidentally charged for an item from the room thus preventing me from using the express checkout. While I did have to go to the front desk, the man who I spoke was very professional; he removed the item and apologized. Overall, my mother and I enjoyed our stay at Harrah's and felt we got what we paid for.

It was a great value for being downtown on the strip. Not the cleanest. Felt a little outdated. Bathroom not the best. We were excited to be so close to all the action on the strip without having to pay a fortune for our room. Staff was very friendly. Our room was average, other than the bathroom. The toilet was not clean and our sink clogged whenever we used it. Luckily we did not spend much time in the room.

Harrahs is good value right on the strip. Request a higher floor the lower levels have no views

I just got back from Las Vegas 4/19/2009! Not only was our room nice, the staff was great! Pleasant, helpful!!! The only RUDE people were the other people who stayed there! We were never approached by venders like others. The pool was awesome with plenty of lounge chairs for everyone! To those who wrote bad reviews...I'm sorry your experience was bad...mine was fantastic! Would highly recommend!

Harrah's is a clean hotel but parking is tricky to get to due to confusing signs. Once you learn how to drive to Valet, it got easier. The bed was wonderful and slept well, except for the flat pillows. We qucikly learned each time we left or entered the hotel we were bombarded with Time-Share people, but that was at each hotel. We spoke to someone staying at Harrah's who sat through the "2 hour" workshop which turned into 5 hours. Really, the only complaint I have is the band playing til 3 a.m. And yes, we could still hear them from our 6th floor room and our friend's 12th floor room. One POSITIVE is our friend's room door was not shut all the way, so the front desk called and said they would send security up to shut the door properly. It is centrally located in the middle of the strip and located near McDonalds, Denny's, and Starbucks.

I've been to Vegas about 7 times in the past 5 years or so and usually spend my time around the Mirage/Harrah's area. I think this is a terrific location on the strip but I usually don't want to spend $120+ to stay at Caesar's, Venetian, Mirage etc. Harrah's was a good compromise since the rooms were reasonably priced. We arrived at 9:45pm on Wednesday night. There was a long line of people waiting to check in (which I thought odd at this day and time) and there were only 3 people at the front desk checking people in. Each transaction seemed to take 5+ minutes. So finally after about 15-20 minutes we were checked in. It seemed like the long lines were there all throughout the week/weekend. Not sure why this is such an ordeal. Fortunately they offer an automated check out process through the menu guide on the TV which was painless. When I walked by the checkout desk on Sunday morning there must have been 50 people in line, ouch. The room itself was very nice. Great bed, good amount of room, nice bathrooms, flat screen TV in the room and a small flat screen in the bath. This was a normal deluxe room. We were on the 4th floor and we could hear noise constantly. People on the floor above us, below us, and a lot of noise in the hall. It almost seemed like there wasn't a door on the room. This seemed odd because the room itself is nice, it just seemed like a really noisy hotel. Everything else is pretty standard at the casino. Decent staff and casino area, nothing really noteworthy either way. I docked it .5 star for pain of checking in and another .5 for the noise factor. All things considered you could do a lot worse. The location is prime and the price is reasonable.

Best value for location. Hotel was a little old in decor, but there was a newly renovated section also that we did not stay in.

I was very disappointed to find out there were many hidden charges. The rate was low, but normal amenities had additional fees. For example, it is $25 per day to use the health club. I questioned the manager, and was told this was a fee they did not tell people about. Wonder what the pool cost? I would not stay here again.

We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, since we were on The Strip taking in the sights every day. While we were there it was comfortable enough, but I had some issues checking in, and that left a bad taste in my mouth for Harrah's. Our room keys were misprogrammed and didn't work in our door at the very back end of the 21st floor. I went back down to get it fixed and there was no one at the information desk. I got someone's attention and asked for help, but she said that I would have to go BACK through the line I had just come through to check in. Needless to say I was not happy about this, and as a result will likely not give Harrah's my business again.

The room upgrade to a junior suite was great. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The casino was too smoky. We checked in for one night and were offered an room upgrade to a junior suite. The suite was spacious. The king size bed was very comfortable. And the room was very clean with lots of amenities. We enjoyed staying there very much. The location is great.

Nice, clean rooms at a decent price. Would definitely stay there again. Food and drink prices within the hotel were very reasonable and coupons were provided to sister hotels.

Location is excellent; no other hotel has so many high pressure timeshare sellers, but blame Wyndham for that, but just say no or ignore them. Flavors buffet was really pretty bad. The room was nice, run of the mill, nothing special. Would we stay again? Probably not because there are so many other choices. We also stayed a couple of nights at the Hilton on Paradise, and that was beautiful with a great buffet and food compared to Harrah's. You could do worse--we heard others really complaining about the Luxor and its tower rooms and some of the other hotels look like total dumps. However, for what we paid for three nights and the fourth free, we were happy.

I was there on vacation. I chose the hotel because of the location and price. For the money it was good. My only real compliant is that the room had some out dated features. The TV's auxiliary inputs were disabled so I couldn't use my portable DVD player. Also, in this day and age a clock radio w/ the ability to plug in an MP3 player should be pretty much standard in Vegas. Also, the hair dryer was weak and took forever to dry my hair. I read that some of the rooms are remodeled. I chose to stay in the cheaper, older rooms, so most of this was expected, however, I think Harrah's would do good to update some of this basic stuff. The check in process was a little long, but again expected.
