Dining:
There is a restaurant on the ground floor level serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in an informal setting. There is also a brand new Irish-style pub in the basement, which serves snacks throughout the day. This is also a popular spot in the evenings, with some live music.

Location is great. Can walk to many sites in the city or catch a bus nearby. Staff was wonderful, they offered to do extra cleaning when I asked to move to a non-smoking room and found out all the rooms were smoking rooms! The traditional music in the pub was fantastic.

Great location. Walking distance to Temple Bar, Guinness factory, O'Connell/Grafton Street, Castle. Next door to Darkie Kelly's bar with great live music, although not unduly noisy. Attached Copper Alley bistro has good menu and not too expensive. Breakfast served here until 12:00. Staff generally helpful. One room already had an occupant, but reception soon sorted the problem. Double rooms were a good size; singles were a bit on the small side. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The shower was brilliant - hot and powerful! There aren't many 'social' areas in the hotel itself - there are some seats in reception and on the mezzanine, and for drinks you have to go through to the bar in Darkie Kelly's, which gets very crowded if there is a band playing. For a few days visit to Dublin this hotel is ideally located, perfectly acceptable, and relatively inexpensive. It is recommended and we could not hesitate to return.

classified as a 2 star hotel but deserves at least 4 stars. friendly, helpful staff, very large, very clean rooms. irish breakfast very large and filled us up for the day.bar staff also friendly but dublin is a very expensive city. good entertainment in the bar. bistro restaurant reasonable. central to dublin city, very close to both termple bar and christchurch cathedral. on the open top bus tour route. tip - at the airport get the 3 day ticket for the open top bus tour,25 euros and includes the airport bus link.

The Harding lived up (or down) to our expectations. A nice little hotel in a great location. Our room overlooked the "smoking" area for the hotel bar so it was quite noisy. However, we were expecting that and it didn't bother us. Hotel bar was much livelier than expected.

Only stayed for one night, my first time in Dublin. This was a great choice of hotel - low price, great location (about 5 mins walk from Temple Bar) and friendly staff. I'd be happy to stay here again on my next visit to Dublin.

The Harding Hotel in Dublin provides a simple but satisfactory room for the money. The room and bathroom are small but adaquate for a room that you will be spending little time in. There was sufficient closet space and room for our three pieces of luggage. We did not know how to turn on the heater and our request for help from the front desk was met with satisfactory results in less than 5 minutes The front desk staff was helpful in providing directions and calling a taxi for a trip to the airport to pick up our car. The breakfast at the ajoining Copper Alley Bistro were fair, continential breakfast was better than the hot choices. The location of this hotel is the real plus a few minutes walk from Temple Bar with great restaurants and a 10 minute walk to downtown Dublin sights. I think this hotel would be good for all ages as there was a lift to the rooms, but stairs needed to climbed to reach the elevator/lift and breakfast area.

Good breakfast shame it was served on a cold plate. Friendly staff

Within reasonable walking location to almost everything. The room was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. Even though the free breakfast in the adjoining restaurant indicates the full Irish breakfast as the best dollar value I would recommend the continental if you're really hungry as a better value.

My husband and I stayed here over the New Year period .Although early, we were given a room immediately although it was a back of the hotel directly exit to the bar adjacent with the back of the hostel on Dame Street. The noise wasn't unbearable but if we shut the window the room could get a bit too hot. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The breakfast was very simple but just how I like it. We ate in the hotel one evening and although it was bit expensive, it was generally a very good meal. A few areas in the bistro that do look a little worn. Our room was huge and spotless as well as one of the cleanest bathrooms I have seen in a hotel. The safe in reception not having a charge and generally a very good and the staff being so polite and helpful made our trip a very good one... I got such a good rate over [website] I would definitely recommend this hotel but would request a room at the front of the hotel.

The Harding Hotel is very nice. The room was large and very comfortable. The furnishings were modern and in good condition. The hotel is in a great location near Temple Bar. We walked to Trinity College and to Guinness Brewery from the hotel. Right around the corner is the great Burdock Fish and Chips shop. They have good Irish music in the bar which is very popular. I would definitely stay at the Harding Hotel again.

This was a pleasant hotel in a convenient location on the edge of the main siights. It was quite quiet (which is what I like) but still had a reasonable range of facilities. The room was clean and big enough and the breakfast was excellent.

A friend of mine recommended this and it was great. The location was wonderful--near tourist sights, restaurants, and some shopping. The price was reasonable.

We really enjoyed our stay at the harding hotel. It was right in the centre of Dublin within easy walking distance of every attraction. The only downfall was the smell of cigerettes in our room which i think was coming up through the vents. The hotel was lovely, large room and bathroom and the included breakfast was fantastic.great portions and variety.

I got a single room with a view of a cathedral and a comfortable bed. The room had a t.v., tea and coffee, blow dryer, and a space to hang clothes. The included breakfast was amazing! Every morning I had poaches eggs, bacon, toast, coffee, and juice, (and that was the smallest option you could choose) in the restaurant that's attached to the hotel. At night, I spent time in the bar downstairs chatting with locals. The bartender even gave me a free glass of my first taste of Ireland's Guinness. One night/morning, I came home around 3am, only to find the party still going in the bar. Needless to say, I stayed until 5am to hang out with some hotel guests and staff. Lastly, customer service was really great. My luggage was lost for days and the staff would call the airlines for me or let me use their phone free of charge. If I wanted to know about how much a taxi would cost, the receptionist would call to find out the exact amount. They even helped me find a place to buy warm clothes to hold me over. The only negative I have is that I had trouble getting hot water in my shower. It wasn't cold water, but it wasn't really hot either. Overall, the location was great and allowed me to walk everywhere, the staff was generous, and the free breakfast was delicious. Some of the reviews had said that the hotel was noisy, but I never ran into that problem and slept fine every night. For such a cheap price in the center of Dublin, I would gladly stay at the Harding Hotel again.

Th eonly problem was from the chiming of the church bells that were right across the street and the noise from the pub next door..Breakfast is great you get a good choice and its open until 12, I was upgraded to a double room and it was fantastic..the location is great and in walking distance to just about everything - highly recommend this hotel

The room size was fine and the bed was very comfortable. Hotel is well located in the midst of all the Dublin activites; museums, shopping, Trinity College and Temple Bar. There was a small problem with the drain in our bathroom. It drained slow, but the shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. There was some noise at night from the bar, but it is Dublin. We tried to eat an early dinner in the Hotel restaurant, but it was already fully booked with a tour group that was at the hotel. However, there are a number a fine restaurants in Dublin. We would definitely stay at the Harding again and have already recommended it to friends. The Harding Hotel is a fine example of a solid basic value in a busy city.

Comfortable, clean and safe hotel in a fantastic location in Dublin. Christchurch Cathedral is right outside and Temple Bar and the main shopping streets are 5 minutes away. The rooms are large and come with a fridge and tv. There is no bath, instead there is a huge shower. The hotel also has free wifi (I wish I knew this in advance) I will stay here again the next time I go to Dublin - highly recommended.

Very nice hotel with good size bedroom. Good location within easy walking distance of all the main sights and shopping areas. I would stay there again if I go back to Dublin.
