Evreything was great except it's a little too far from the strip if that is where you want to spend most of your time. Pool was great excpet pool hours weren't early enough. Casino was nice and small not huge like other casinos.

Valet staff gave me a dirty look when they realized I would not be taking a taxi and wanted to know where the nearest bus line was. It's a great hotel if you like the whole rock star vibe. It was not so great that they charged a resort fee when the hotel is not referred to as a resort in the title. Dealers at all tables were very nice and staff in general was very helpful. The valet staff gave me a dirty look when I asked them where the nearest bus line was. This was probably because I did not request a taxi and they would not be getting a tip as a result. All in all, I can recommend this hotel, but just don't expect all hotel staff to be genuinely concerned with your convenience. However, the dealers, cocktail servers and restaurant staff was very cool and fun to chat with during my stay.

"I was very disappointed with the hotel. The room itself was nice, but the housekeeping left a lot to be desired. Every day we had to ask for additional towels, washclothes, glasses. The ice bag that we used the first day was never replaced! Luckily, we always brought something back with us to drink! Also, this hotel is not really kid friendly. There were instances that I wish the kids were not able to see, but did because of the way you get from the front door to the hotel rooms.

This is a fun hotel, but don't expect quiet. Lots of loud rock and roll, which is expected, but they are building a huge addition, so there was a lot of construction noise. The rooms were clean, the memorobilia is a lot of fun.

Very large bathtub. Excellent! Great rooms. Small casino area. An elevator got stuck. We loved the bathtub! The rooms were a good size and everything seemed to be in great condition. We purchased tickets for a concert at the pool area through Ticket master. But the concert is included with the room so we were able to get a refund at the box office. It saved us a good amount of money. Great hotel!

I think that the Hard Rock is puttting all of its money into the new Hotel as the old one has really went down the tubes. I had to switch rooms immediately because the 1st room was a total dump. The curtains had "stuff" all over them, the carpets were so stained that the maids told us not to walk around barefoot, and the Hard Rock does not supply and toiletries such as shoe buff or sewing kit. The room also only comes with one bar of soap and 2 towels. We had to ask for extras. The new room was an upgrade, and much better then the 1st, but it was not still not up to par with other Vegas hotels in it price range. The 2nd room had closets without clothes rods and there was not a drawer in the room - very strange to me. I would never stay in the old hotel again. Maybe the new one will have all these issues fixed.

Hotel has a rocking pool. Great place to party and have fun. Dead during week and livens up on weekends. Different pool regulations on weekend versus weekdays and information not posted anywhere. During week only hotel key needed to enter pool. Try on weekend and they send you back to desk for a wrist band had to wait 20 mins in line of people checking in to get wrist band. Total inconvenience and BS have a separate line set up.

The beds are so comfortable. I love the pillows they use. The view of the pool was outstanding, and I love the French Doors. You are not allowed to bring alcohol to your room if you didn't buy it there. That is really stupid. This is a very fun hotel to stay at. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of loud music. The hotel / casino is smaller than most on the strip, which gives it a more intimate feel. Great party hotel! Not sure if it is great place to bring children. Actually, there really isn't any kids there at all. Thank God! I would definitely say this is an ADULT hotel.

Very nice hotel, free shuttle from the cafe to the strip. Would stay again. Be careful, they do charge you for things you use out of the room. We were charged 10 dollars for min bar fees

Pink Taco and Nobu are great places to eat. The Pink Taco happy hour from 4-7 is a great deal. Breakfast room service took only 15 minutes all 3 days and was a great way to prepare for a day lounging at the pool. Staff and guests are fun and the music played is great mix.

Completely out of control, drunk people staggering around the hotel at all hours being loud and obnoxious. Worst 4-star ever stayed in. Our room looked like it had been trashed more than once, the carpets were stained. It was so loud in our room because of the constant partying at the pool. Plump full of drunk people around the hotel the whole time.

My best friend and I just got back from staying here over the weekend and were so excited about the entire trip. However after getting off an eight hour flight and reaching the hotel...guest what the room is not ready for another hour! And yes, the review below is right about the credit card charges $ accidental fee hold- lucky my friend had brought her credit card to use. Also, the room was alright, but we was told the wet bar is censored and if we pick up anything from it automatically charges us, so the entire trip we didn't know what to touch. There is no microwave, coffeemaker, hairdryer, not even a note pad and pen in the rooms. So what is the $ acc. fee for- really? This hotel is not on the strip and the shuttle doesn't come until 11am and ends at 9pm. This hotel caters to my generation 30's and younger, but with an rock n roll edge. Overall the staff was nice, especially in the Dining Hall (24/7 diner) excellent food and the housekeeping was very nice (even though the bathroom and use an extra cleaning on the floors)

Needs more quick dinning options. Its not the kind of hotel where they have everything you need to keep you there.

Swimming pool, friendly staff and location. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino was a fun and entertaining place for people of all ages. Everyone likes seeing Rock and Roll memorabilia from their favorite artists throughout the interior of the building. The pool truly was a tropical paradise, with a water slide, waterfall and sand. The bed was also very comfortable and would have been difficult to get out of if there weren't so many great things to experience in Las Vegas.

my husband and i stayed here from 03-07-09 until 03-11-09 for our anniversary we have been to vegas twice before i researched where to stay for 2 months. i decided to stay here because the rooms looked really nice and comfortable and also the rate was excellent for a 4 star hotel. my room was on the 5th floor over looking the pool. really nice airport was close by but that did not bother us. also construction noise did not bother us. what did bother us upon check-in we were told we needed a credit card so they could hold $150.00 a day for incidentials. we had no credit card cheap tickets who we booked thru states they could charge this but was not stated mandatory. the girl says it is mandatory for everyone.all year long i expect this during pool season with the young crowd cuz they have rehab the pool and a few club rooms. but not off season .well good thing my brother-inlaw was there to use his credit card for us.beware of this before you book there before you book there otherwise great place to stay. also go to the hard rock cafe and catch a free shuttle to the strip.

First of all, no information about hotel was offered at check in, Nothing is mentioned about a mandatory resort fee ($7.63 per day) that apparently includes a shuttle to the strip and the agent barely knows what else it may include. You need a pool pass to even go to the pool, no one mentions or offers this either, so I have to wait on line again upon checkout. Staff was not friendly at check in and not at the pool either. Its far from strip and not even a nice walk to get there.

DO NOT STAY AT THE HARD ROCK - especially if they are under construction... Everything including the pool is under construction. At 7:45 AM the construction really started - and it was loud!!! Too loud to continue sleeping - So I called travelwebsite and explained that I went to vegas to lay out by the pool, Stay out late playing cards & going to shows, and sleeping in... All of which were impossible to do by staying here due to the construction. Their front desk doesn't care and is rude if you mention it too.. Travel website was fantastic!!!! I'll say that again, Travel website was fantastic!!! They worked with me and switched my hotel to another one with just one phone call!!! Long Live travel website!!! They saved my Vegas get away!!!! Thank you travel website!!! You guys Rock!

Really just ok but hard to complain for the price we got. We love the look of the pool but the drinks and food at poolside were not that good at all. They ran out of pina colada mix, corona, and bud lite in the same day. FYI - a drink at the pool is $18 and a bucket of 6 beer is $40. There is NO getting around this or brining in outside drinks.

The pool has a slide and sand which is great for my son. We are locals. The construction going on at the time of my visit. Love it, I'll be back.
