Date of Stay:

We drove to Victoria taking the Port Angeles, WA ferry over. The hotel was a block away from the ferry drop-off and within walking distance to the inner-harbor and downtown Victoria. Sight seeing was a breeze. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The elevators could use an update or plain old deep cleaning. That seemed to be the most neglected part of the building. Otherwise, we had a nice & enjoyable stay. We didn't dine in the hotel's restaurant so couldn't comment either way on that.

Given a room upgrade when arrived/ as decided to stay another night. Pool area under construction/ bathroom in room small. Overall a nice hotel/ convenient to downtown and all the shops and restaurants/ did not like the fact that parking at the hotel is an added charge. Accommodating when we asked to stay another night which upgrades us to a suite instead of a room.

Visited Victoria for business. Well placed near the Inner Harbour, close to downtown, business/financial centres. Large, spacious, clean rooms with excellent service. Beds are very comfortable.

This was a large, comfortable two bedroom suite with full kitchen and two bathrooms. The quiet location was perfect and a block away from the scenic harbor in Victoria.

Great location-- everything in the inner harbour is walking distance. We stayed in their 2 bedroom suite and it was very roomy. Having your own kitchen is good--the hotel room service and restaurant is quite expensive. Other restaurants nearby is just as pricey. We had to order outside the downtown area for good dinner at great price. The hotel is a bit old--the baseboard heater is making funny noises and the carpet is a bit old and dirty. The alarm clock radio in one room wasn't working either and the TVs are really old. The staff are okay there was only one person though with exceptional service--she greeted us right outside the building--and offered to help me with my baby and luggages ( I wish I got her name). I think their pretty strict with check-in policies which is at 4 pm. We arrived a bit early and we had to wait for our room which is odd 'cause it didn't seem like it was full. They did let us check-out about half hour later though. It still was a good trip for my family 'cause my kid enjoyed the swimming pool.'

The view was amazing, ask for a room on a higher floor when you check in. The room wasn't very big but it was comfortable and worked well for 2. The location is hard to beat for the price.

I enjoyed our stay here and found the staff to be quite helpful when it came to info. Rooms clean and nice, staff friendly. The only complaint I have is that it was so stuffy in the room. There was no air conditioning in the room so we had to open the window but then it was too noisy to sleep. Other than that everything was great. Would definitley recommend this hotel. By the way - the pool does not close till 10:30pm. I had read before that it closed really early.

great view of inner harbor from our room. sit back and relax while watching sea planes and boat traffic go by. Or take an easy stroll to all the attractions the inner harbor has to offer.

There is stairs to the elevator, but a wheelchair lift. This made it difficult for the stroller and luggage.

Hotel was ok, but was told that it had full kitchen in the 2 bedroom suite. No oven, just microwave. Went for family weekend, brought casserole, no way to heat except by tiny microwave. Refrigerator was less than desirable, barely kept food cold. Service was average, asked for recommendation for local area pub food.. only gave their local resteraunt as the recommended place. They allowed us to check in a little early and that was nice.

Convenient to many activities in Victoria. No need for a car! Rooms needed a little updating. Everyone was very helpful. Internet access/computers available without a charge. Room was spacious and had a nice view.

We had front door bus service - for city tours and excursions. Be sure to go to Butchart Gardens and Craigdarrouch Castle. Easy walk to the harbour, BC Museum (amazing), downtown shopping and plenty of dining options.

Location, good staff, kitchenettes are nice. Big problem with hot water distribution; no room safes. Hot water circulation is poor, showers go hot & cold & the hotel knows it, probably requires major changes. We got an upgraded room after complaining, but the same problem persisted. Travelers should be aware.

Stayed in a one bedroom plus living room suite on 11th floor. It had a kitchen on one end. We really enjoyed the harbor view. The furniture could stand to be updated and a little more comfortable. Nice having a separate bedroom and two TVs. The bathroom was not overly big.

Noisy, rowdy gang bangers staying there! Old place, good views, close to everything needed!

Very nice hotel. Great location on the inner harbor and with a great view of the Olympic peninsula across the straits. Secure garage

The friendly front desk and restaurant staff were a bonus. The temperature controls were not consistent, the steak and roast chicken breast were overdone in the Steakhouse restaurant.
