very poor hotel i ever stayed.

Location close to MTR, Cleanliness. Size a bit small, not much room for luggage. Quarry Bay MTR exit C is across the street. Room service is very clean. Hotel staffs are courteous. Room I stayed for 3 nights were very quiet. Lots of business and group tour travelers.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is within 3-5 minutes walk to the MTR, Bus and Tram. The street behind the hotel are bakery, fast food restaurants, McDonald, 7-Eleven and laundrymats. However, there is a funeral home located next door to the Hotel. We had two twin beds in a good size room with a partial view to the harbour due to the buildings of the police station and another office building. The bathroom has marble tiled sink, wall and floor but the bath tub is very small and there are mildew along the side and between grout as well as the underside of nonskid rubber mat. The plastic shower curtain can use a change because it had a mildew smell. Water from the shower will leak to floor if shower curtain is not placed totally around and stick to the wall. If your stay is more than one day. you need to request bath soap daily and make sure the drinking glasses, mugs and placements are clean before use. The fitness gym is very nice and located in the basement. There is also a sauna in the locker room. Our overall stay was very pleasant. I just wish they had a lower daily rate of $US/day for our 9 days stay which didn't even include breakfast. The bed is hard but you do have a fluffy comforter. May be you can request an extra comforter to lay on top of the mattress for better comfort. The hotel staffs are very helpful and courteous.

Compact but classy with ease of access to local area. Communication (English) was weak with some staff but hey I was the foreigner. Has quick and easy access to taxi, bus and just less than a 10 min ride from the train station which will take you from the airport to all points worth seeing. In fact just the price of the cab fair (from hotel) to train fair to airport was cheaper than the shuttle from the airport to hotel direct; and it made for a little more adventure. Everyone we encountered during our time in HK were super, nice, and friendly, the cab drivers were a 'hoot and a howler'.

The food in both of the restaurants was excellent with excellent service, especially in the Chinese formal restaurant. Drinks were a little dear but not untypical of hotel prices. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is a little away from the centre but quick and easy to get to with a free shuttle. Would recommend it to others.
