Travel under the bridge and after the next sharp bend the Harbour is situated on the left.From Cork travel via the (N20) to Limerick. From Limrick and Shannon travel on the (N18) to Galway City.

Certainly wouldnt recommend staying at this hotel. Stayed with 16 friends - check in wasnt efficient & check out was even worse - 1 person had to pay for all rooms - staff were illogical

Central location at harbour, though no harbour view and PARKING IS NOT FREE as was advertised...Plus points:location - within walking distance of everywhere central.Rooms were nice and clean.Friendly staffLovely breakfast with plenty of choiceA few negatives...:More like a 3 star than 4 star - rooms were pretty plain (except for a few cushions and a bed runner), bathroom fittings were white and run of the mill - nothing fancy though everything was very clean.We paid three times the price of what we've previously paid for Malmaison hotels and such like, but Harbour Hotel was a far cry...We had priced around various websites which stated that there was free parking - however when we got there we saw a price list! However, the staff were pleasant and gave us our first night free, which was most appreciated.All in all, a nice hotel which I would return but not worth £120 per night like we paid..!

Centrally located good hotel. Reception staff were friendly & helpful. Room was reasonable size & clean. Self service breakfast was good though service on toast was slow. Very good value on [website] at 80Euro B&B for double room. Subsidised car park directly behind hotel.

Hotel LocationThe location of the hotel is good-about 5mins walk from Eyre Square-just a little expensive if you get a taxi-spent 7euro to get into town-was a bit expensive but it was due to the traffic in town centre

We stayed for 2 nights but our rooms was not serviced at all, our breakfast tray was still left in the room at 9pm that evening, we had to make our own bed and ring down to reception for clean towels. Breakfast wasn't great especially if you paid the going rate of €16.00 per person for it.

well located hotel- near to train and coach park and easy walk to city centre.our room was cold but we were immediately given another room without any problem. It was excellent to have the steam room and jacuzzi to slip into. We only ate breakfast at the hotel but it was very good.

The hotel is 7-10 mins walk to the city centre and the bars and restaurants on Quay St. Room was comfortable, quiet and cosy. Bathroom was spacious, clean, well fitted and had good towels. Breakfasts were v. good with an good range of everything we have come to expect

This hotel is not four star. The rooms are a good size but have views of road or car park. The furniture is cheap and falling apart. The bathrooms are poorly tiled have cheap fittings and do not warrant the billing as four star. When I booked I thought I was getting a bargain. As it was we had a fairly average 3 star experience at slightly above the market rate. The hotel clearly aspires to be something more and a bit more attention to detail would have overcome the limitations of the view.

The room was quite small, but cosey ,and spotless.However the breakfast in the morning..... well it took a long time for the staff to ask if we wanted tea/coffee , than they were slow infact we had to ask for a refill of the cup, but apart from that the food was good and the reciption staff were welcoming , friendly and very helpful.

Although we did not have an evening meal at the hotel, the breakfast was plentiful and reasonably priced and the menu looked very nice . The hotel was perfect and we had a wonderful stay. The staff could not do enough. A perfect honeymoon.

I wasn't sure how close to the centre Harbour Hotel is, but it's a five-minute walk, easy. No great views from the windows - you either get the road or the carpark, but I didn't stay there for the view. One minute out the hotel and you're at the harbour, so there's a great view. The food was OK in the restaurant, nothing overly special but fine. It's expensive for what it is, but I found all the hotels in Galway expensive, so, compared to those around it, Harbour was a pretty good deal. I came back on my own a week later, stayed a couple of nights over the weekend and paid more than I'd paid for two people during the mid-week, but that's also standard. Staff when i arrived were very friendly and helpful, not always quite so much on later occasions when I had questions about buses and where to go in town. With all that, I would return.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay in whilst holidaying or on business in Galway. We had a lovely meal and it was very reasonably priced (3 courses for 25 euros). Its a couple of minutes walk from Eyre Square and has a great residents bar. Very friendly and helpful staff.
