Great hotel,beautiful pool and beach, we like it a lot, just we ditn't like that you need to pay for all litle extra things. The price does not included parking, breakfast, mini bar, umbrelas and cabanas on the beach, so you have a lot of extra spending.

On the beach, beautiful resort! Parking fees, as costly as big cities like LA and Honolulu! Beautiful resort on the beach. Pool was very big, lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. They have ice water set out, bring lemonade and cookies in the afternoon, a big hit with the kids. Very well kept, lots of outdoor seating, chairs, hammocks, couches and fire pits, something for everyone. Rooms were nicely decorated, would stay here again!

From top to bottom this Resort is first class. The hotel rooms are roomy, well decorated and comfortable. The Spa is a delight from head to toe. The food in the dining room and bar is gourmet. The Staff has always been helpful and courteous. The beach area is groomed daily and water sports are available and great fun. I frequent this Resort and would recommend a quick weekend, vacation, and business trip ANYTIME......THANK YOU HARBOR BEACH FOR THE EXPERIENCE!! BeachbumMJ, Reston, VA

The beachfront location was pristine and the hotel was beautiful but it was the staff that made our stay. Each time you passed a staff member - be it at the pool, restaurant, hallway or lobby - they at the very least smiled genuinely and said hello. More often than not they asked how we were enjoying our stay and if they could get us anything. Everyone was personable, professional, and welcoming. This is by far the best Marriott stay I have experienced. The hotel layout is very well done and easy to navigate. An adult pool is always a plus for my travel needs but they don't seem to have space to add a seperate swim area. Drinks are pretty overpriced but they are very well made and served with a smile. Our bartenders comped us a round when we were waiting for our poolside snack which has NEVER happened to me at a hotel. Well done Marriott!

Very nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. Hotel is in a great location, on a private beach, but not very close to restaurants. Eating at the hotel was a little pricey, but we expected that. Overall, a nice trip.

Great location. Primary restaurant was closed. Would not have booked had I known this. It was an OK stay. Too much construction and the primary restaurant was closed down. Just didn't have it's normal uniqueness.

If you book this hotel you will be pleased. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Everybody makes you feel welcome with a smile or hello. It was nice to be very close to the beach. There is only one pool and when I was there it was always packed with kids splashing. I didn't mind but could see other people that didn't like it. The room was very nice and comfy. If you decide to rent a car please know that it costs 23.00 a night to park. Overall it is a very nice hotel and I would stay again.

overall the experience was great! it was a perfect honeymoon getaway! it was in the perfect location, right on the beach. the beach was very clean and not over crowded. the pool was clean too but they were doing some construction around the pool so it got annoying. staff was very friendly and helpful. Room were extremly clean and we always had plenty of towels and pillows! the rooms were very nice. i think we picked a great spot for our honeymoon!

My husband and I used this hotel as a getaway after the hectic weeks of and before our son's wedding. Although it was pouring down rain the evening that we arrived, the rest of our stay the weather was perfect with just a sprinkle in the early evening. The beach (which was the reason we went to Florida) was gorgeous, clean and had to be shared with only 30-40 people during the day. We heard that it's much more crowded on the weekends. The entire hotel was recently remodeled and is absolutely beautiful - both the common areas and the rooms. Our oceanview balcony was definitely worth the more per day. Although there were some families staying there as well as conference goers, once we entered our room we heard virtually nothing. The quiet was a surprise and most welcome. We ate every evening in one of the two main restaurants, or had delilcious appetizers in the bar area. All the food was wonderful. My only complaint is that the location doesn't make it easy to walk to other restaurants and stores. If we stayed here again we would probably rent a car. But all in all, it's a fabulous property and perfect for a short getaway.

The hotel is very clean and the staff for the most part was helpful. My sister and I went together. The pool is very nice. There are lots of lounge chairs. There is plenty of shade if you need a break from the sun. We are from the midwest so we wanted to enjoy the beach. The hotel is right on the beach which was great! My biggest complaint about the hotel was the food. The food was good don't get me wrong but EXPENSIVE. No matter what you order there is a 20% gratuity added so the servers can be terrible and it doesn't matter. For example I ordered a cocktail at the pool. It cost me $14.90. That was a little steep! We are girls in our 20s. If ever we go back and won't be without a car. To really get around a car is crucial. Cabs cost at least $20.

The beach & pool, the bell man. The room can use a good dusting behind the furniture, maid service was slow, and parking is too expensive. I love this hotel for a romantic get-away, or for a weekend of fun with my kids. The buffet is excellent.

This hotel was fabulous for us and our 3 children (ages 17, 13, 7). Everyone has a great time at the pool, which had plenty of towels and chairs for everyone. There is an afternoon snack time at the pool which was a much anticipated treat everyday. The beach is clean and since it is a private beach the crowd was small. There are water activities available for purchase - scuba, snorkeling, parasailing, jet ski's, and some fun kids things like a trampoline in the water. There are also complimentary towels for the guests to use at the beach, which were in abundant supply. The room was nice, with comfortable beds and pillows. Each morning a USA Today newspaper was delivered to our door. The television channels were hard to figure out, but we didn't go to Fort Lauderdale to watch t.v. so I didn't care as much as my son. The bathroom is well-lit, roomy, plenty of towels, and plenty of hot water. Due to the water softener it took a lot to get the shampoo and conditioner out of our hair. The stock the restroom with Bath & Body supplies, so better than the run of the mill products. We ordered Pizza Hut from room service one night and they were quick. They brought it in on a rolling table with a tablecloth, real flatware and water glasses. Above and beyond at every turn. I would highly recommend to stay here if you are looking for a relaxing beach getaway!!

The location is excellent. The pool is big, but still crowded. If you are traveling for a peaceful beach getaway this is not the place. The staff seemed preoccupied. They charge 26 a day for valet which I thought was a little excessive. On the other hand, the rooms are small but well appointed. Most hotels are putting widescreen HD tvs in their rooms, but this is the only hotel I have stayed in that actually recieves HD programming. Very nice!! The on-site dining was just ok, nothing special. I would recommend it, but take a cab from the airport!!

We picked this hotel for a last minute getaway and were delighted. A beautiful hotel on the beach, well kept and the staff were very friendly. The only minor item that could be improved is that there was no fan in the bathroom. We were 3 in a room, so shower time got a little steamy. Some drinks were a little pricy but that was offset by the free tasting samples that were offered each evening. Mid week was quiet and peaceful, but by the weekend the pool area was pretty busy with families. On the whole we had a great vacation and wouldn't hestitate to recommend the hotel

The room was beautiful, the location was great. We couldnt get any service at the pool reasturant. We sat for 20 minutes, and asked 2 different servers to help us and take our order, they said someone will be right with you, and they never were. We got up and walked away, no one even noticed. So then we went to another restruant in the hotel. Food was good, service was just ok in there.
