This was a trip for a family gathering in a nearby smaller city. I have stayed in the Hampton facility frequently. Until recently it was the newest property in Troy; there is now a new chain a stones throw away. I think that rates were on the higher end. I felt the staff is losing the personal friendly touch that made it a favorite.

Nice Hotel in a town that doesn't have anything. Staff was very friendly.

The beds were the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! Iliked the rooms; they had enough space for 2 small families. Hotel bed are usually so hard and the blanket so itchy and thin but the Hampton Inn beds were so comfortable and so were the comforters!

The staff was always friendly and were always quick to greet. I would have like to check in at noon when I arrived instead of right at 3 p.m. The continental breakfast was a great plus. Although simple, it was greatly appreciated and quite good. Wide array of donuts, muffins, bagels, fruit, yogurt, cereal, eggs and sausage. Coffee, tea, juices were also included. The best amenity though was the free high speed internet access to the room, especially since I was on business. Staff was friendly and efficient.

The Beds were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful at check-in and not very knowledgeable of discounts the following night. The hospitality could of been a little better and there wasn't enough blankets or extra cots in the inventory.
