We took a Guided Trolley Tour, Dinner at the Pirate's House, Shopping on River Street, Visited the City Market. Spent $$$$'s. Have never beeen charged for PARKING at a hotel before. Felt the price should have included parking. It should have been mentioned at check-in rather than just showing up on the bill. My fault for not checking the address, but thought Historic District was the Historic District Downtown, not on the outskirts CITY MARKET LOCATION. Really disappointed.

The room was southern style and very nice. The breakfast in the mornings were great for Continental. The front desk was very polite and helpful. The only thing I didn't care for was the shower walls/doors could have been cleaner. My husband likes to smoke a cigar outside and there was no place for him outside so this would be the only reason we would not return to this newer very fine hotel. You got the southern hospitality! Great job.

This was an absolutely marvelous experience. The room was sumptuous. The staff freindly and well informed. We would definitely stay here on almost any trip to Savannah. I highly recommend. Thanks to all who made our trip a pleasure

The hotel was very nice. The staff could not possibly be more friendly or helpful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and there was always plenty of hot, tasty coffee. The room was comfortable, and easy to relax in. I only have two complaints. First, the hotel is located on a "shady" street. One block over is the beautiful historic district, and then on MLK jr BLVD you are trying to do a mental inventory on all the things you have in your wallet, just in case you have to part with it! I've been to big cities all over the world, so I feel that I have a pretty good sense of a less-than-desirable area. The other complaint is that the walls seem to be very thin.

It fit into the surroundings and made you feel comfortable. It had ambiance. It was clean and the hotel personnel were friendly and helpful.

This hotel was an unexpected treat in the historic district of Savannah! Traditional-looking outer building, with very up-to-date and lovely lobby area and amenities. Very friendly and courteous staff. Best hotel bed we've EVER slept on! Truly within walking distance of many areas (and we're not exactly "fit"!). Nice hot breakfast with an amazing hostess. Even enjoyed sitting in the "Living Room/Parlor" area after a day of sightseeing. We definitely plan to return - both to Savannah and to this great hotel!

Pretty elegant for a Hampton. Beautiful bathroom.

The hotel stayed true to the Savannah style. That they have an assistant general manager that would be rude to a guest. The hotel was nice. The atmosphere was southern comfort and held true to the Savannah style. The staff as a whole was pleasant and helpful - As best they could be with an Asst. General Manager working the front desk that did not seem like accommodating the guest was her first priority. At one point she actually talked back to us while going into the back office and closing the door behind her. And that was after we had to dress in a lobby bathroom because she had said there were no rooms available for us to check into. Another employee was able to find us a room, one that had been avail while we sat in the lobby for 2 1/2 hours. The way I was treated by her was enough to ruin my trip if I had let it

This was our Ladies yearly trip to Savannah and found the hotel at a great location and everything was very clean. The beds were like sleeping on soft pillows they were so comfortable. The hot food at breakfast changed everyday and we liked that. Service was great in every area. We had two room and we call X at the front desk for a taxi every evening. ""Big Y"" came to pick us up and would return us back to the hotel. We will be back ....we have already booked for our trip next year.

Great location. Friendly staff.

I liked the fact that the hotel was in walking distance from the restaurant/entertainment area of the city. The back exit door was broken, had to walk further to load/unload car. I enjoyed my stay, the hotel was conveniently located, festively decorated for Christmas, and clean. The room was nice, huge bathroom with a walk in shower. Would stay there again.

I really enjoyed my sojourn here. The room was beautiful and well appointed. The staff was very anxious to please. Even though I didn't use the pool, the kids enjoyed it. Good location, good value. Told my travel agent to suggest this place to her clients.

The hotel was in walking distance to carriage ride tours, shopping, food and many other wonderfuls things to see in Savannah. I hope to return very soon.

The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in! It would have been nice to have a small restaurant on site. We were especially pleased with the comfortable room. It was clean and tastefully decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful and apparently took pride in their jobs. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to family and friends.

One of the best hotels we've stayed in. Clean with friendly and helpful staff. Free hot breakfast that changes each day. we're going back!

We had three rooms and were in Savannah for our son's wedding. The rooms were comfortable, beds were firm, and the staff really tried hard to accomodate all of our needs. Parking charge was much less than other historic location hotels.

Spacious room, very nice decor, staff extremely friendly, very clean. Expected more of a breakfast selection. This is a great hotel to stay with small children; the room was very spacious - had a pull out sofa bed. It was very convenient to all attractions - within walking distance. Excellent location.

I did alot of sightseeing, the city is beautiful. The hotel and the room were great..clean and nice. My only problem was that I had trouble logging onto wireless internet in my room, staff wasn't very helpful and signal was VERY weak. Night manager (at front desk) was kinda unfriendly too, but otherwise, I'd totally recommend this place.

Appearance of hotel was very good as was location. House keeping was not friendly. This hotel was well kept with a friendly staff overall. The location was perfect and convenient to the trolleys. We would choose it again.

The hotel overall was not very big, which was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread was super awesome, I've never seen a complimentary breakfast like that. We only had to walk a short distance to get into the heart of things. Definitely check out Wild Wings, besides the great wings they have outdoor seating with live music everyday. There is not a reastaurant at the hotel, but there are plenty nearby. Also, there's a gas station next door that's great spot for stocking up on snacks for your room.
