the hampton inn in downtown greenville s.c. had a beautiful view of the reedy river from our balcony. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the continental breakfast surpassed our expectations. i would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. excellent updated, private, comfortable rooms. the hampton inn is very convenient to wonderful parks, shopping and fine restaurants!

Location to downtown Greenville. Also, nice lobby. Next door left takeout outside their door all night (5pm- 10am). Enjoyed the stay. I was with a bachelor party, so we liked the attractiveness of the hotel. Staff was nice. Very quick check in and check out. Breakfast was pretty good. Beds were very comfortable. Our view wasn't great, but some of the rooms had nice views.

I frequent downtown Greenville often. When I went online to make hotel reservations I did not recall seeing this hotel. I had browsed through the art galleries in the complex, but I did not notice the hotel. It is in the River Falls complex a residentail, restaurant and retail complex. The area is beautiful!This was a surprise get away for my husband. We were celebrating our anniversary. He was clueless! We had dinner at the High Cotton (that's our favorite restaurant in Charleston). The restaurant is in the same complex. The staff was wonderful! I highly recommend this hotel!
