Worthwhile place, Good location, just a few blocks from state capitol bldg, and few blocks from top of 16th street mall. Getting around very easy.

Very friendly staff. Slightly out of downtown, but good location for the money. We found the accommodations to be better than expected. Our room was very nice, the staff was very friendly and it was within walking distance of 16th Street.

My fiance and I recently visited Breckenridge Colorado and after driving down the Mountain we bacame snowed in Denver. We are a priority club member of the Hampton and made reservations over the phone. After we checked in, we realized we had a buisness suite which we didn't need. We asked to downgrade to the normal room and the manager on duty said no and that now she needed a $20 non-refundable deposit. We told her that not even at the Mountain Marriott did they ask for a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, and that was a $ a night room. She said "good, go stay at the marriott" and "good luck getting a room". So we went to the Marriott which was closer to downtown, had a starbucks, resturaunt, and bar. And also upgraded us to the concierge lounge for being a priority member. So, if you are looking for a good motel try the Marriott on 17th and California, just 1 block off the 16th st. mall.

The whole place is only a year old and it shows. It is nicely furnished and well maintained. The pool is indoor (albeit in the lower level) which is tough to find in downtown Denver. It worked well for the kids. They also have a nice hot tub in the pool room and an adjacent workout area.Complimentary buffett breakfast was nice. The walk to shops and restauranunts along the 16th St Mall is easy. We'd go back!

We definitely thought the hotel was a great value. The location was convenient to shopping and Coor's Field. Don't bother with the valet parking, park at the meters on the street and save yourself $20/day. Free wi-fi in your room. The staff was very nice and helpful, even moreso than other hotels I've stayed at that cost twice as much.

The lobby decore, tall ceilings in rooms, beds and bedding. Parking! Was disappointed in lack of parking garage. Otherwise, it was agreat hotel.

The Hampton was spanking clean; I loved the decor, especially the Mark Rothko reproductions. My room was one of the 'corner' ones - very spacious. Note: free Internet access is wired - bring your Ethernet cable. Easy walk to 16th Street mall. Only downside - plastic glasses in the room; for such a classy place, they should have glass glasses!

We had five guys and rented a suite. It was very spacious and easy to spread out. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was only okay. Great location: 5 minute walk from 'The Mall.' Valet Parking only was expensive, but the pay lot across the street was only $4 a day.

The free amenities and the pool was open until midnight. I loved the location and price. The staff was rude about getting a later check out time. This hotel is gorgeous and right in the middle of the downtown area. Free breakfast included hot items like eggs and sausage. Pool was open until midnight. No parking for guests. Must pay for valet (16 bucks) or meters or pay-per-day lots.

I found this hotel excellent. Large, clean room. The staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed five days so saw several shift changes and they were all terrific. It's a great location - short walk to the 16th Ave Mall. Close to the car rentals and quick to the freeways out of town.

Room was excellent; clean and relatively new furnishings.Hotel was well-kept. No complaints at all. Worth more than I paid.

Went two Denver for Memorial Day stayed Sunday night thru Monday. Quit, clean, friendly hotel. 4 blocks from 16th st mall very easy walk. Pool and workout room small. Rooms very clean and nice. Not the most comfortable beds in the world but adequate. Breakfast was okay.

This hotel was as great bargain. The staff was one of the friendliest we've ever dealt with. The free breakfast was very good. The rooms were very clean and spacious and also included a fridge and microwave. The only knock I can give is that the hotel is not in the heart of LoDo, but the free shuttle for the pedestrian mall is only a few blocks away. We would absolutely stay here again. By the way, Denver is an awesome city.

we were surprised at how big and roomy the suite was. The hotel is a little off the beaten path of downtown and the walk was fine during the day, but a little iffy at night after the game.

This was a very enjoyable trip. The rooms were nice. The bed was one of the most comfortable yet. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was great and always different. The morning we checked out was very early and they had a breakfast bag made for us. What a neat touch. The location was great. Walking distance to the 16th street mall, where there is something for everyone.

The hotel was great for a quick weekend trip. The staff is personable and gave great suggestions for local restaurants and entertainment. The room was very comfortable and facilities were clean.
