We checked in early at 9am and went right to our room. The hotel is located withing a few blocks of the Mt. Vernon Bike Trail. Only 3 miles into DC and 15 miles to Mt. Vernon. Beautiful for biking or walking. Hotel was very quiet and pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful and ready early! The king bed room was small but had alot to offer with the kitchenette, desk, and sleep sofa. We would come back with our kids.

The fresh comforter that had been washed specifically for our stay. The remote was missing when we returned to our room, and the toilet had to be repaired. The room & hotel are clean & comfortable, plus you get a great continental breakfast. There were however, two drawbacks to our stay. One, the toilet stopped working late at night, but it was quickly repaired early in the morning when the service man came in. Also, when we returned to our room after sightseeing we found that the maid had taken our remote to the TV. It took two calls to the front desk before we finally received a new remote.

As I was in Washington DC for the marine corps marathon, I don't think I could have booked a better hotel. It was convenient to the metro, to the shuttle bus to the marathon, and to the post race party. There were excellent restaurants in easy walking distance. The hotel provided a very good breakfast each morning and even set up early on the day of the marathon. The people at the front desk were most helpful in answering questions. The maid service was very good. The room was big and bright with everything in working order. It really is a convenient location to get to the attractions in Washington DC, to the shops in Crystal City (if you are there to shop) and to fine dining without needing the use of a car. I intend to book there again.

I chose this hotel because I like Hamptons, and I usually know what I'm getting when I book a room there. The room was relatively large, with fridge, microwave, etc. It was clean, except for some crumbs at the end of the bed, and although the whole hotel is nonsmoking, I smelled stale cigarette smoke as soon as I opened the door to our room. The odor seemed to fade after the first night, though, or maybe I got used to it. It is a short walk to the Metro station, and my son and I found this subway system to DC so easy to use. I didn't find many family-friendly restaurants nearby--we walked to Chili's one night, had pizza delivered the next night, and took the Metro to Pentagon City and ate at California Pizza Kitchen another night. All in all, it was a nice place--a little pricey, but not as expensive as staying in DC.

Great location. I was able to use public transportation easily. My purpose of the trip was to get a visa for travel outside U.S.A.

The hotel was convenient and friendly. Good breakfast. Could not get the toilet paper off the roll. The hotel staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. The location is within walking distance to the Metro, shopping, and restaurants.

Overall this was a great experience. The room was nice - it appeared new or recently remodeled. The free breakfast was more than adequate for a continental breakfast. We arrived in town just before noon. Their official check-in time is 3pm, but they allowed us to check-in early into a non-smoking king bed room just like we reserved. Their parking spaces are small. We have a small car, so this wasn't a big deal for us, but I'd hate to try to park a large car or SUV in there. Perhaps the spaces got larger as you go farther down into the basement????

Stayed during Christmas-New Year's week for brief vacation to visit favorite DC sites. Complimentary hot breakfast was quite good. Rooms were well maintained and comfortable - I do not sleep well in hotels, but this time I did - very comfortable mattress. Our schedule did not permit use of the pool or the exercise facility. The hotel is located at the corner of Rt 1 and 20th Street in Crystal City - just 3 short blocks further (on 23rd St.) there is an assortment of restaurants and pubs - we chose to visit 2 of them on 2 separate occasions and had a delightful experience both times. Hotel is a moderate walk to Metro subway stop.

Clean, great location and modern. Walls were thin. The hotel was very clean and modern inside and out. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Very nice location to the metro plus the shuttle at the hotel will drop you off and pick you up. We had rented a car and it stayed parked the entire trip. The front desk was always helpful and ready to help with any of our needs or questions. Very lovely people! The room was great. Only slight problem was the breakfast could of had a larger verity on the hot portions in the buffet.

The included hot breakfast was a bonus. No restaurant in the hotel, however, there was one in the adjacent hotel. Hampton Inn - Crystal City. This is a very nice small hotel. They included hot breakfast which was nice. Comfortable and clean accommodations. Shuttle to and from the airport. I would recommend for any business traveler.

Crystal City Metro stop was 2 blocks away which made getting around very easy. Breakfast buffet was very good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The pull out sofa was missing some springs so the mattress sunk in areas.

We always stay at a Hampton Inn. We have stayed at this hotel before and are repeat clients. We appreciate the staff and their service. We always stay at a Hampton Inn regardless of where we are traveling in the U.S. They always meet or exceed our expectations. We have stayed at the Hampton Inn Regan Airport before and will stay there again. We appreciate their staff and quality of the hotel. The location was perfect and the staff was most helpful about how to get around town.

Attractive. Way too many hidden fees, and money complications. It’s a gorgeous and clean hotel. Staff was friendly for the most part.
