Location, restaurant. Screwed up wake up calls. While this hotel was conveniently located, it was under construction; we arrived in the rain and had to check in along a grade path. Wanting to rest after a week's work we arranged for a 7am wake-up and an 8:30 shuttle. We were awakened at 5am by a wake up call, then again at 6am wondering why we weren't in the lobby for our shuttle. I mentioned it at the desk upon checkout and didn't even receive an apology. Consequently, we returned home tired after staying at this place.

Spent one night here to catch an early flight out of Sky Harbor. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The carpets had just been washed. The smell of the cleaning was still present. The hotel staff were very pleasant. The airport shuttle service was prompt and efficient. The hotel does not have a restaurant. There is some fast food nearby and a bar with barely tolerable food next door. Because of the lack of restaurants I would not stay here again. If the hotel were in a more developed neighborhood I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The desk staff was helpful and chearful even though it was a late hour by the time our plane arrived. We got a shuttle ride to the airport the next morning and they were great. The breakfast was great. Everything was wonderful!!

The hampton was very easy to locate and not far from the mall downtown and the zoo. the staf was very friendly and the complementry breakfast was excellant

We we extremely happy with our stay.. rooms were excellent.. beds had down comforters and down pillows.. pool was great.. breakfast was fabulous.. had a big selection, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal hot or cold, sausage, toast, breads, etc and the coffee was fantastic with huge to go cups.. LOVED everything except the shower flow.. lol..

The Hampton in was very plesant and made me feel at home...I was a newcomer to Arizona, and not knowing where i was, the staff there was very helpful and made me feel relaxed...It made my trip so much easier and i would recommend it to anyone.

My family and I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Phoenix, Arizona. The beds were comfortable.We enjoyed the continental breakfast, there was a nice selection of yogurt, fruit, cereal, as well as hot food. It was nice to have internet access available from the comfort of our room. The Hampton Inn is a good hotel at a great price and very close the Sky Harbor Airport.

Everything in the hotel seemed to be in a well maintained condition. The complimentary breakfast was good. I would have liked to have had a little better restaurant on premise.

quite pleased, staff were friendly & attentive, option of free breakfast (delicious), airport pick up/ drop off A/C vehicle w/ friendly staff. room was neat & clean, bed was particularly comfy. Well appointed room w/ fixtures in good condition. hotel inside/ grounds are maintained well, wouldn't hesitate to stay again, really enjoyed it & felt comfortable, safe & supported!

The Hamption Inn & Suites Phoenix South was clean, well managed and a great finish to our week long geologic vacation in North Arizona. It is conveniently located with respect to the airport, facilitates easy rental car turn in at the new rental car terminal, and provides a range of amenities to transition back to a normal routine. The business center is a great way to catch up on email and the work out room provides an easy way to relax and exercise. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff is efficient and helpful. The complementary breakfast is one of the best I've experienced in a number of years. The courtesy shuttles to the airport are a great help getting started in the morning. We feel fortunate to have lucked out in our selection of this motel.

Stayed 1 night, parking area had security-very nice, great pillows & comforter, okay mattress (not firm @ all). Overall a great nice to sleep with minimal noise from the Interstate, considering how close we were.

The Hampton Inn and Suites Phoenix Airport South is definitely worth strong consideration if you are looking for great value in a very good customer service and travel friendly environment. The rooms are very clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful and always friendly. You could tell they enjoyed serving their customers. This hotel has great location to the airport and is certainly freeway close to any destination in the central Phoenix area. I highly recommend this hotel and staff. While my family and I were there for only one night, we would have liked to stay longer and know that stay would have been very comfortable. Give this hotel a try...you will be glad you did!

"I could not find a thing I didn't like about this hotel. It was quiet, very clean, more than just a continental breakfast, room was in excellent condition, staff very helpful and friendly. I stayed there three nights and I will stay there again when in that area."
