We were staying at this hotel before we boarded our cruise ship the next day. The staff was very friendly and helpful giving us accurate directions from the hotel (less than 1 minute off of I-95) to the nearby Port Everglades (10 minute drive) and also went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The rooms were in great shape, nice bed, and plenty of places to go eat. If we go to Ft. Lauderdale again, we will surely stay there.

Provided transportion from airport & to cruise ship. Limited space for breakfast Suites were very nice in size and quality. A big plus was the transportation from the airport and to the cruise ship, as well as a nice hot breakfast. I'll definitly use this hotel again.

Stayed here for one night after a Caribbean cruise. Lovely room, fabulous bathroom, super clean with wonderful ameneties. Had to wake up too early to enjoy the complimentary breakfast but did appreciate the 24/7 coffee bar in the lobby. All staff was accommodating and very kind. I would stay here again in a heart beat!! * * * * * 5-Star rating for sure!

We booked a non-smoking room but received a smoking room. We woke with red swollen eyes and sniffles. No breakfast of any kind. A 3 star should at least offer a continental breakfast. (A one star Motel 6 offers coffee, juice and donuts.)

As I arrived at the airport which is about 2=3 miles from the hotel, I called for a free shuttle and it came in the alotted time the front desk person told me. I was very impressed. The room was very clean and cool. It was like I was being welcomed home. The free breakfast was very good each morning. My daugher and I needs were being catered to each and every time. I would definately recommend the Hampton Inn and Suites Hotel in Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I would definately go back there. The entire staff was also excellent.

Large deluxe rooms, clean, friendly helpful staff. Needed to clear plumbing - slow drains. Large clean rooms, very helpful friendly staff, next to large outdoor shopping mall. Although plumbing/draining was slow, it iseasily fixable with a maintenance call - staff apoligized. It will be my top choice on my next visit.

We were very impressed with the staff at this hotel. All of the staff that we came into contact with were friendly and eager to help. The front desk staff made transportation arrangements to both the airport and the cruiseport. We did not rent a car during our stay and had to rely on stores within walking distance. so the location of this hotel was convenient. The breakfast area was clean and the staff kept the food stocked. We will stay here again prior to our next cruise.

We love this hotel. The beds were like clouds and the breakfast offerings were excellent. We used the shuttle from the cruise port and to the airport and the driver we on time and courteous. We'll be back!

Very nice hotel but not many places to eat nearby. Room was comfortable and clean, spacious and nicely furnished. Very good price for the area.

This hotel room was the dirtiest hotel room I have ever seen! Stained rugs and walls. The tub was actually so stained it was grey. The toilet looked like it had not been cleaned in some time. As if that was not enough the staff would congregate outside our room (which was at the end of the hall) and smoke cigarettes at the exit door and the smoke would fill our room. YUK

My trip was great,the hotel was ok. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times before.This trip was not impressive at all.I reported the refrigerator was not working, about three times.The refrigerator was checked by the maintenence dept. We were adviced on Saturday night, asked to be moved to another room . I don't think this was customer friendly after reporting the fridge was not working.If i did'nt follow up on the matter no one even checked to see if the fridge was fixed.I LOVE YOUR HOTEL SETTING. I DO THINK YOU COULD OF BEEN MORE CUSTOMER FRIENDLY.

This hotel is clean and close to the Fort Lauderdale airport. The complimentary wireless internet and breakfast each morning was convenient and nice. However, there were some problems with housekeeping (no new towels or toiletries unless you specifically ask) and card key system (three times during my 5 day stay my card key stopped working). Overall, the cheap price, clean and comfortable room and complimentary breakfast and internet make this hotel a great deal. I would stay there again.

We stayed here because we were visiting family in the area; it's near a strip mall in Hollywood, FL. We got around with a rental car. We stayed in a suite which had one room with a kitchenette (microwave, sink, dishes, utensils, counter, stove, dishwasher, fridge, kitchen table) TV, dresser and couch. There was a dressing room with a huge counter and the bathroom sink and then the toilet & bath are in the bathroom itself. The bedroom had the bed & dresser. We were traveling with our one-year old and used a pac-n-play from the hotel and had him sleep in the non bedroom so we didn't have to go to sleep when he did at 7:30 pm. It was wonderful, everything was clean and the place was quiet. The hotel had a lot of amenities for families like laundry on two floors, the crib, and they have a free breakfast every day included. They had bagels, danish, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, hot dishes, coffee, juice and tea. Not amazing, but nice because you spend no money and make no decisions about where to go & what to have. There was a tiny pool which looked nice, but we didn't try it and I didn't see anyone else use it either -- you can see it from the lobby and when you're going to the elevators. I didn't realize this before I got there, but if you bring a laptop, they have free ethernet and wireless in the rooms. They had a free business center that I used to check email and print my airline boarding pass and I didn't pay by minute or by page I printed. We never stayed in a Hampton Inn before and we were really pleased. The strip mall next door had a movie theater, Kmart, home depot, marshalls, old navy, a bunch of other stores, fast food and chain restaurants. The hotel's not on the beach, but if you are looking for a family & budget friendly place in Ft Lauderdale, this is great.

The Hampton Inn was much more than I expected,the friendliness of the front office was most outstanding and accomodating they just out did themselves.I would most definitely recommend this particular property to all of my friends.The Housekeeping Department was on the roll everything was in place I never had to ask for anything the Room was magnificent and well kept.The location is ideal for shopping and dining everything is practically in walking distance for those who can't drive. I just can't wait to come over again if only for a few days.

Our room at The Hampton Inn & Suites in Ft. Lauderdale was great! The beds were very comfortable, we had an abundance of towels and washcloths, great furniture, good shower, and plenty of space. We were picked up at the airport fairly quickly by the free shuttle, but when checking in after midnight, the hotel staff forgot to tell us that we needed to sign up for the shuttle to our cruise ship the next day. However, they were able to work it out and get us to the ship on time.
