We booked this Hotel even after seeing some of the negative reviews from this site knowing that some people will never be happy. We have stayed many times at Hampton Inns in the States with no complaints. This hotel is in a great location and the price is very fair for the area. A plus is the free parking! The hotel is across the street from the casino and the water park, 1 block from lets rip off the tourist for every dollar we can avenue and about a 5 minute walk to the falls. If you have never been to Niagara Falls be prepared to pay $ 2.80 for a taco at Taco Bell where the same thing cost me $.80 here in Michigan. My point being that we found the rate of $116.00 AAA rate a steal. They do offer a free breakfast but it was one of the worst I have seen presented. Eggs and hashbrowns must be prepared at Nightmares next store( a tourist attraction) Sausage was a thing for Ripleys believe it or Not. Hot part of the breakfast was awful but if you like bagels, toast, muffins, fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee you will not be disappointed. We went out for breakfast the second day. There is a Perkins across the street and a Dennys about 1 1/2 blocks up the street. They are on the high end but it falls in line for all the restaurants in the area. Bottom line is Hampton is a nice, comfortable, clean, affordable place that I recommend for sleeping only and leave the food to the restaurants. If I ever go back to the Falls this will be where my family will stay again.

The heat is on where I live so I took my family here for a few days. Had a great time at Waterpark and my security detail parked for free. Mrs K loved all you can eat breakfast.

I thought that everything was great about our 2 night stay. The hotel was within walking distance to all the attractions. The price was only a little higher for 2 nights compared to one night in Toronto and Ottawa. The breakfast was really good too. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I've been coming to Niagara to see the Shaw Festival a Niagara-on-the-Lake for more than 30 years. This hotel is not only the best and most comfortable, but for the money it's the least expensive. I took some friends from Florida and Chicago with me this past year and everyone raved about the proximity (I had a car) and even the view of the river just across the street. The smallest and most cramped hotel at Niagara-on-the-Lake is much more expensive. If you are driving, this is the place to stay. You are already part way up to Niagara-on-the-Lake when you're at this Hampton Inn. Moreover, by being away from the sometimes noisy downtown area, you are assured of a good night's sleep. Also, a local legendary restaurant called "Simon's" is on Bridge Street, only 200 yards away, serving the locals home-cooked fare at low prices.

The hotel is near Clifton Hill/Maid of the Mist- but not on top of it so you had a peaceful stay. It's walkable to everything in the falls area as well. The pool is so-so and the hot tub wasn't hot enough & the jets were mild- but those 2 features were just 'icing on the cake' for my trip. The breakfast buffet was much more varied than any other Hampton buffet I've seen! The staff for the food area was helpful, courteous- and really worked hard to make your breakfast relaxing and enjoyable. A big plus to the hotel! The front desk was helpful & friendly- unless you had a problem to deal with. I needed to go to the Manager to get the problem solved. My only angst with the trip....

Nothing Fancy, but very good place for the price. Beds were clean. Close to the city center and falls. Free parking! Breakfast was really bad.

Very safe & secure feeling. People ate most of the breakfast buffet before I got down to the lobby by 10 am. Great value.

this hotel was a good choice for our family of 5. rooms were large and clean. staff was very friendly and alway helpful and everyday i saw the staff in the common areas always cleaning railings, windows, elevators, etc. it was great to have breakfast included with the price of the room, however the breakfast area is tiny for the large number of guests the hotel holds and the lines for food were alway long. but there was a good selection of warm and cold foods. pool and hot tub are small, but during our stay it was never overcrowded and we always were able to get a spot in the hot tub! it is close enough to walk to the falls and attractions, which we did several times a day! i would recommend this hotel highly to anyone traveling to niagara falls in canada :)

This hotel was a little disappointing. For * a night and a Hampton Inn, I expected a little more. The good part was that the beds are very comfortable which is the most important thing so that is why I would say I would consider this hotel if ever at Niagara Falls again. The breakfast is mediocre and there were only 12 channels for TV. Only CNN for cable news - not everyone likes CNN! But, I didn't come to Niagara to watch TV, but for the price of the room, there should be more to pick from than that. They were in the middle of updating the carpet and wallpaper in the hallways, so that was a little distracting, but it looked like it would be nice when they were done. The day front desk clerk was nice and helpful. The night clerk not as much. The walk to the falls is not as difficult as some have mentioned here. Yes, it is a steep walk back up the hill, but it's not impossible. It's the equivalent of probably a six or seven block walk to Maid of the Mist. Overall, this hotel was very convenient to the Falls.

The Hampton Inn at Niagra Falls was easy to locate and within 5 minutes of crossing the Rainbow Bridge from USA to Ontario. Hotel has a New Orleans theme and easy to navigate. The indoor pool, breakfast area and registration area are open and co-located in on the first floor, in the lobby area. Parrots and such are "greeters" in the lobby as well. The hotel was in very close walking distance to the main hub of sightseeing and family activities - within 5 minutes. Hotel offered free parking, which was a great cost savings as most public lots cost on average $10 - and if you left and returned, you had to pay another $10 to park. We liked the fact that the hotel was so close to everything, but yet a little bit away from all the lights and noise. Staff were helpful. Breakfast included some hot items, but the sausage patty does not look or taste like sausage - we recommend skipping that choice. Room was large and comfortable - and we had view of the Clifton Hill sights. Bathroom was large with marble counters and hotel amenities, which we love. All sorts of nearby shopping, and very close to the Indoor Waterpark. Also close to casinos and adult activities. Walk to the Falls was about 10 minutes from the hotel - walking is much better because of traffic congestion and not many places to park. Our sons age 15 and 17 had a great time! We plan to return again to this hotel in late August with more family members.

Clean. The lobby smells like chlorine from the indoor pool. This hotel met my expectations. Great location - a very short walk to Niagara Falls. The room was clean and the complementary breakfast is not bad either (it's more than just a continental breakfast)! There were a lot of families with a lot of kids staying here, which was unlike other Hampton Inn locations that I've stayed at. Also, the lobby smelled like chlorine from the indoor pool. Overall, a good clean hotel, and good value, but I wouldn't really recommend it to a couple looking for a romantic getaway.

This hotel is fantastic. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the beds are comfortable. The hotel staff is very friendly and knowledgable about everything that there is to do. It is within walking distance of all of the tourist attractions at Niagra Falls. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The local tour company has a desk right on the main floor so you can book your tours and shows right there. The tour line picks you up at the hotel and returns you to the hotel for all the tours which is a great plus. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the falls and most major attrations. There are many diverse eating establishments with a block or two. They serve a Complimentary Continental Style Breakfast every morning that has enough variety to satisfy most appetites. Overall the stay was very pleasant and I would use this hotel again. One word of advice though. If you are wanting a non-smoking room make sure to ask for the newer part of the hotel. We started with a non-smoking room on the second floor and had to ask to be moved as our room and all the rooms on our side of the hall were non-smoking but the rooms on the other side of the hallway are not. Even though our room did not smell of smoke it caused my allergies to smoke to cause me problems. When I requested a room change, the staff imediately moved us to the newer section of the hotel, there was no hassles or problems, they were very nice and were concerned with solving my problem. The newer section of the hotel appears to be all non-smoking. We found the hotel to by quiet, peaceful, clean and very pleasant. I would recommend it to my friends and family.

Across street from Casino Niagara and a short walk to the falls. rooms immaculately clean, beds and pillows were to die for! A/C was ice cold. appliances were all new and worked great.staff very courteous.hotel itself although was pretty full seemed very peaceful and quiet. The free hot breakfast was very adequate. hot/cold beverages,cereals,pastries,fruuits,2 hot entrees is more than anyone can ask for. grayline tour booth right in the lobby, and free pamphlet kiosk right in the lobby.Free parking. just a short distance and a straight shot right off the rainbow bridge.
