What are your breakfast options?: We have a complimentary breakfast each morning from 6:00am-10:00am. We serve a different hot item each day (scrambled eggs, cheese omelet, western omelet, bagel topper with eggs, French toast; meat items: bacon, sausage patties, bias cut pork sausage). We have all other favorite breakfast items like cereal, pastries, muffins, bagels, fresh fruit, juices, and make-your-own waffles.
What transport is available to get around?: We do not have a public transit system. Taxi cabs are available and the cost to go downtown would be about $7-$8. If you fly in, car rental agencies are at the airport.
What can I do nearby?: We have many attractions in New Bern as we are a historic city. Favorite attractions would be Tryon Palace (the site of the Govenor's home and first capitol of NC), the new NC History Center, the Fireman's Museum and many more. We are located on two rivers, the Trent and the Neuse, so boating, fishing, canoeing and kayaking are very popular here.
