We were exploring the Estero area.

Staff. One staff member did not set up wake up call. I was late for my meeting. The hotel is old and needs renovations, but this is being planned under the new management. I could not have expected better front desk service, (except for the mishap of not calling my room in the morning). I met the management staff and they made a point to spend time with me.

Found the rooms to be adequate but not completely finished, faucet was not attached to counter, clock radio was not viewable at night, door key would not always work, elevator continually broke down, (security issue) outside doors were not locked at night!! Manager was not very receptive to help hilton honor clients to be satisfied with his "work in progress" attitude. Lobby and breakfast area was new, breakfast was enjoyable, but hall carpets digustingly stained - needs replacing, pool unheated and full of leaves, bugs and basically unusable in High season of florida . Great aceess to beach 3 miles away. I'm a hilton honors client for nearly 10yrs and this is my worst stay. I rated for my needs 2 out of 10. Will not try again because of manager.

The room telephone which did not work.I immediatly noticed the reception. However, nothing was done to it during the 3 days we stayed there. The restaurant recommended by the hotel,Perkins, was the worst I ever experienced. The vacuum cleaner dedicated to our room was apparently on vacation. The AC system was of a very old make and as noisy as a Ford T model 1917, trying to climb Telegraph Hill. The eggs offered for breakfast were the industrial type : a dot of yellow lost in a luke warm kind of white solid gelly. However, the choice of breads, coffee, was good.

Very quiet, walls has great soundproofing. No complaints except wet hallway carpet. This hotel was very clean and comfortable except for the hallway carpet. It as the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in and I was very comfortable there. I would definitely stay there again.

Found the rooms recently repainted, newer carpet in our room, great qual;ity mattress, main lobby and breakfast area was new, breakfast was excellent, but hall carpets digustingly stained - need repalcement, pool unheated and basically unusable in Jan - March- no laundry facilities for longer stays and none close by in a desireable neighborhood. Great aceess to beach 3 miles away. New manager working hard to make needed changes. Rate for my needs 5 out of 10. Will try again but would call first about pool and laundry.

I was disappointed because: 1) the hotel was hard to find even with a map, as the street sign was obscured. 2) The hotel was undergoing renovations and was in general disrepair. 3) The business center was closed, so no computer availability. However, desk clerk was kind enough to let me use office computer to check emails. 4) Room reeked of paint. 5) There was mold in the corner of the bathtub. 6) My room was right over front entrance with a view of columns and walls. Yet the three interactions I had with the staff were helpful. I couldn't and wouldn't recommend it to someone else.

Close to everything needed and very comfortable bedding. Hotel is convenient to all locations dining, beaches etc. Rooms are very comfortable and bedding was excellent.

The hotel looks new and beautiful. The staff, full of smiles and helpful. Breakfast hostess the best! Had a great time.

The comfortable bed. The doors were not locked. You could just pull on them to open them instead of using your passkey. It was a pleasant stay as most of my stays at Hampton inns usually are.

This hotel needs a MAJOR remodel. Rooms are dirty, carpet is nasty and the ""high speed"" internet is a JOKE.
Date of Stay:

The staff was very attentive and accomodating. Beds were a little small. Excellent facilities, clean rooms, and a courteous staff..they went out of their way to make my wife and 8 week old son comfortable.

Had a great stay! Enjoyed laughs with X and X at the Front desk!

First floor rooms all smelled damp and mildewy...no paintings or any wall decor to relieve high ceilings with faint water damage. Clean enough, but not the nicest Hampton Inn we've visited.

The hotel desk person was very professional and kind someone stole my wife's blouse. She left it behind and noboby knew about The overall of the hotel was good. Very fast service and good location. I would recommended to anyone.

Great breakfast Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety. even French toast and sausage.

Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. We were a few miles from the Atlantic Ocean. The breakfast was expansive..even bacon and eggs!! The exhaust fan in our bathroom (room331) did not work. We were so pleased to bet a room at The Hampton Inn for less than half price. This was a clean hotel with excellent mattresses. We couldn't believe the breakfast..so much variety...great coffee...bacon/eggs...fruit, croissants, and much more. I hope to stay at this Hampton Inn next weekend. Oh, I forgot the outstanding homemade cookies put out each evening.!!

Location for my business trip was excellent. Not as clean as most Hampton Inns. Definitely showing it's age. I'd go back here given the rate I received but I'm not sure it is up to it's 2 star rating.

The continental breakfast was great! The full size beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever layed down on! Good location, convenient to the beaches and dining. Breakfast was very good. Pool was small and although it was supposed to be heated, it was very cold. The rooms were adequate size and very clean, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable and caused quite a back ache the next day.

Clean comfortable rooms, nice breakfast buffet Staff was unsure how to process reservation. Nice, clean, comfortable rooms. Located midway between Naples & Ft. Myer. I would like to see more information of restaurants in the area for meals.
