we went to taste of chicago 3 blocks away, we went to millinium park 3 blocks away, we walked to the lake front12 blocks away. shopping on state street 2 blocks away, ate at millers pub 1 block away and saw mary poppins 3 blocks away. The location was perfect the hotel beautiful, very clean, all employees were very helpful and very pleasant a great experience!! would go back in a minute...thanks so much for everything!!!

Convenient location. Some of the staff were very brusque in their customer service. Clean and presentable with a good continental breakfast.

Convenient (downtown, next to theater and near restaurants) Great room (clean, nicely decorated) Good service ( front desk, housekeeping) Breakfast leaves something to be desired. We were somewhat disappointed in the quality of the food. Coffee was very good.

We liked the hotel. It is very well located - at a walking distance from millenium park. The breakfast was very nice: tasty, abundant, and diverse. The lobby offers hot water with coffre, cocoa, tea etc day and night. The room was very nice, but no refrigirator. The sheets looked clean but they were not ironed so I was a bit suspicious about it. The room also had an LCD TV with a channel for playing video games. The bathroom was clean with everything inside: shampoos, soaps, showerhat, ....

I came upon this hotel, based upon the reviews that it had. It DID NOT disappoint! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, directing us where to get some local pizza, how to take the train to Wrigley, etc. Facilities were clean. It is in a great downtown location. The hotel is within walking distance of Millenium and Grant Parks, The Art Institute of Chicago, Sears Tower, Navy Pier (a bit further, but a nice walk on a summer night) and many more. If you want a good Chicago-style pizza, the staff recommended Pizano's. We went there and it was tasty! Our friends, who live in Chicago, took us to a great breakfast-serving restaurant called "Yolk", on South Michigan Avenue. The wait was kind of long, but the food was definitely worth it!! Overall, our experience in Chicago and staying at the Hampton were definitely great. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. I felt that I had spent my money wiesly!

Awesome room, great friendly staff and awesome breakfast! Enjoyed it all, although it's next to a theatre, we parked in a garage down the road because we couldn't get to valet.

Me and my husband had a wonderful weekend. The hotel was great!! The service we recieved was prompt and courteous. The room was very cozy, the bed very comfy. The staff was very helpful and the location was great for those that likes to do alot of shopping and just to enjoy the magnificent landmarks of Chicago. We are definitely going back! Thankyou soo much.

We were in Chicago to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The Hampton Majestic was a great location as we were right next door to one theater and only five blocks away from the other. There were excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. The entire staff was very friendly. The room was quiet, clean and in excellent condition. I would stay there again, but might try to find another way to get there as parking was very expensive.

Convenient location. Nice historic building that has been renovated simply but adequately. The hot breakfast was terrible. Good value for money. Tastefully decorated, with very helpful and friendly staff.

I picked this hotel because of its closeness to Union Station and the Theater District. I walked from Union Station to the Hotel. Check in was simple. The room was quirky but quite comfortable. Loved the kingsize bed and all the pillows. The breakfast served in the lobby was great, although seating is limited and it does get crowded there. The desk staff was efficient and courteous as were the bell boys at the front door.

Stayed 6 nights for site seeing and the '09 Chicago Blues Festival. Very clean and fresh room with very kind staff. No surprise charges at check out. Continental breakfasts were well stocked and satisfying. This hotel is very well located for easy access to downtown Chicago and transit lines. 1/2 block away from Blue Line out of O'Hare and 2 blocks from the Orange line to Midway Airport.

Clean rooms, excellent breakfast. We arrived prior to the check in time and were able to get into our room. The rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. The hot continental breakfast was wonderful and even though we showed up 10 minutes before it was over they were still well stocked. The hotel is right in the downtown loop of Chicago and close to many attractions and public transportation.

The quality, location, and service at this hotel are fantastic. We have stayed at many 4 star hotels that did not offer the service and amenities that the Hampton does. We were all very impressed with the rooms, (small, but beautifully decorated). The staff were cheerful, friendly and very responsive to any requests. A friend we were with was suspicious about the hotel being able to provide a hot breakfast, said it couldn't be done, but gave it excellent reviews after the first morning. If you want to go to the theater it is the perfect place (you don't even have to go outside to go to the Schubert). 1 block to Italian Village and many other good restaurants. It is definately on our list to stay again. Thank you Hampton Majestic!

We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel while we were there but for the price and location I was very happy with our stay. The rooms are nice and newly renovated and the staff were all very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The Majestic was within easy walking distance of the theater district - even in the Chicago snow! Our stay at the Majestic was fantastic -- couldn't have been better! It was a short cab ride to the shopping of the Magnificent Mile, but only a three block walk to the Ford Theater, where we saw wicked. Our favorite part of the whole weekend was our stroll in the snow to the play that night! The hotel staff was ever ready to help us with luggage and cabs - and breakfast was very good. This was our second stay at the Majestic - and I'm sure we'll be back!

The location of the hotel can't be beat if you are planning activities in downtown Chicago. We were within walkting distance of multiple theaters, shopping on State St. and several good resturants. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.

Our experience was very good! The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, very comfortable & updated. Better than average, complimentary breakfast. Location in the heart of The Loop with easy access to the subway and easy on/off to I-90. We would stay here again without hesitation!

Location to shopping the loop was excellent. Could shop and drop off our bags at hotel, then shop some more. Room was rather dark. Was within walking distance of shopping and entertainment. Staff was very friendly and breakfast had a nice variety. Cab ride to North Michigan was very reasonable.

"Six of us stayed in two adjoining rooms for three nights and had a great time. The complimentary breakfasts were great and gave us a nice opportunity to plan our days. Within walking distance of plenty of sites, theaters, and shopping. Convenient bus stop and subway stops around the corner."
