Date of Stay:
June, 2009
It served our needs perfectly-wanted to be close to family for a wedding and was within 20 minutes of everything we needed.

Hampton Inn has the most comfortable beds, you never want to go home to your own bed. Could use better travel shampoo and definitely needs conditioner as one of them. Hampton Inn is very comfortable. You definitely get a good night sleep because the beds are of an A+ quality. The staff was friendly. The carpets could either be steam cleaned or re-done because they are very stained and makes the place less desirable.

My husband and I stayed here for our first anniversary. We booked it for its location, and it was perfect--we spent a day exploring wineries in the North Fork, and took the train into the city for a day--both were easily accessible and could only be acheived staying in the heart of Long Island. The rooms were clean, the front desk staff very helpful and accomodating. We spent time each day in the pool, nice atmosphere. My only problem was the breakfast--the hot foods weren't great (actually, that's being nice), but they did have a nice selection of bagels and cereal (it'sfree,so I guess you can't expect much more than that). Great place to stay, and I would reccommend it to anyone.

I love this hotel. It is near by and I use it primarily for the pool and work out room. The staff is very pleasent and the place is very clean. This is a 5 star hotel to me.

I assumed (incorrectly) that the reservation was at the Commack Hampton Where I had frequently stayed in the past. When we arrived, in Commack, it was too late to go out to the Brookhaven site. We had to forfeit the reservation and pay for a new one in Commack.

Great breakfast. Lobby personnelwerenot very friendly. The hotel was very nice. The staff in the cafeteria was very nice. I enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

Location andbreakfast. NA Location of hotel is pretty good for all tours on Long Island and also to get to Riverhead Outlets. Breakfast is good and rooms are big and clean. Hotel staff was very friendly.

Big bathrooms and free breakfast. Hotel entrance hard to find from road.

The front office staff was outstanding! The hotel itself was great. I cannot report a single negative comment about the hotel, staff or location. The gentleman that was working the front counter took very good care of us. Even at 2am!

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Poor free breakfast.

Reliable, clean, friendly and eager to please. Nothing. I arrived that morning in new York, after many hours of shopping with my daughter (18) I called the hotel to let them know we were in new York and would not be checking in to late tonight, with out hesitation she stated not a problem, and they would see us when we arrived. What convenience. loved the service/hotel.

Very clean, centrally located, nice staff, complimentary continental breakfast was nice. Hot breakfast did not taste very good, processed food. Should have scrambled eggs instead of processed eggs. The hotel was very easy to locate and centrally located. It was very clean and the in-door pool was a treat. It was nice to have complimentary breakfast cereal, fruit, Danish and muffins were good. However, the hot breakfast was processed food it would have been nice to have scrambled eggs. Overall the hotel was very nice.

We very pleased with everything this hotel had to offer! The air/heating unit was a bit difficult to operate. Room was a bit "stuffy" as far as air quality was concerned. We were very happy with our stay. The room and the hotel overall was very nicely decorated. They had a really nice hot breakfast. It was not just a muffin and juice! The 24 hour coffee and tea bar was also great! The front staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were traveling with 2 kids and needed 2 queens and wanted non smoking. I did not even have to ask for this! The woman at the front desk switched it without me having to ask which I thought was wonderful! The only thing that we did not like was the air quality in the room.

Right off the highway. A lot of food places in the area. Non smoking room supplied matches and ash tray and smelled of cigarette smoke. Besides smoke smell it was an overall good stay.

We were booked into a smoking room by mistake and it was changed on the spot. Only spent one night. Nothing I did not like. Rooms very clean and attractive. Complimentary breakfast great and many choices. Easy access from LIE. Courteous and friendly staff. Would stay again.
Date of Stay:
July, 2007
Breakfast was OK. They had one floor that was for smoking and it was dirty. We were given a smoking room even though we were supposed to get a no smoking room. The room smelled awful and they would not move us until the next day. The whole floor was smoking and the rugs were dirty.

Location to shops and restaurants. Breakfast not good, vending machines too expensive Well positioned hotel with good amenities, very helpful and friendly staff.

The maids and maintenance staff were very helpful and kind. The front desk staff changed my assigned room, and when asked why, I was spoken to disrespectfully and yelled at. I asked for a manager & was told No. This hotel has very rude staff members working directly with guests. The hotel has plumbing problems such as toilets that overflow and bathtubs that don't drain. I had a very upsetting visit at this hotel.
Date of Stay:
September, 2006
Complimentary breakfast and high speed internet and clean and friendly. We had to fight and plead and see the manager to get non smoking rooms. Excellent hotel but a bit too far out on long island for our needs.
Date of Stay:
September, 2006
I liked everything. NA Great place to spend a weekend. I will stay there again.
