This is a great place to visit - particularly if you have any bavarian background - entire town is bavarian theme. Hampton Inn was located within walking distance from some GREAT GERMAN restaurants and many interesting shops.

Clean, comfortable. Close to Helen attractions. Rooms comfortable, suites are a step up from the rooms with fireplace and whirlpool.

The Hampton Inn Helen was a very comfortable stay on the river and just a block below main street. You're in town, yet with a sense of peace and quiet. The riverview room on the third floor was lovely. The hotel is well kept and the staff are friendly. The continental breakfast is both convenient and generous, a great start to the day.

Walking distance to the attractions we were there to see. The noise made because they were working on a room near by. At least it they didn't work to late in the day. The internet connection didn't work well. I always stay at Hampton Inn hotels, they never fail to please and always have clean and comfortable rooms.

most excellant stay we have ever had in helen. my husband vowed never to spend another night in some of the worst hotels in helen. so after 25 years of visiting helen i new there had to be somewhre clean and nice. i researched websites,read reviews and decided hampton inn was the place for us. hampton inn is nothing you would expect in helen. our stay was great. every hampton inn employee we saw asked us if we were "having a great stay". the breakfast buffet had everything we wanted. the BED, not to be belived. i/ we have decided we have to have one in our home. also, the location was perfect for our daily trip to bettys country store. lunches at unicoi offer some great country food. we enjoyed our trip very much.

The Hampton River front in Helen Ga was the place to stay for a weekend in Helen Ga. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. They provided us with dining tips and activities that filled our itinerary for the whole two day stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to get a way to the mountains.

The experience was worth the price. Not much to offer other than the room itself. It's a nice place to stay for an overnight or a short leisure trip. Within walking distance of Downtown Helen, GA. which helps out greatly. The rooms were well worth the cost. Would recommend to others seeking a hotel in the area.

We stayed in this hotel over night in Helen, GA. Its location was perfect and within walking distance of most attractions in Helen. I did not have washcloths in my room, but a very apoligetic employee supplied these. My room was not very generous, close space small too. It was very clean though, which is really most important. Again, staff was very friendly too. We would consider staying again.

View of river. Staff unhelpful, hotel old and dirty. Very disappointed in the condition of hotel, traveling with disabled parent, felt taken advantage of, high rate and low value. Not the quality expected from the Hampton. I travel frequently, this was very disappointing.

Good location and very clean. Elevator which is outside should always be accessed with the room key. The rooms are attractive and clean as is the breakfast room. There is covered, convenient parking which has elevator access to the lobby. It is located in a convenient spot close to everything in the little tourist town.

Good coffee. Parking. Ok for a short trip. I usually stay in 4 or 5 star hotels, so it was fine for the town that we went to. Would use it again.

Great location: close to town and nice view of river. I would highly recommend this hotel. I have stayed at others in the area and this is my favorite so far. We plan to return. The location was perfect for my family. It is within walking distance of downtown Helen and has a nice pool and park-like area by the river. The room was nice and beds very comfortable. An overall great experience.
