What can I do nearby?: Harrison is centrally located in the Heart of the Ozark Mountains with many things to do for anyone who enjoys hiking, fishing, canoeing, whitewater rafting, taking beautiful pictures, boating, etc. We are located within 15 to 25 minutes of the Buffalo National River, Table Rock Lake, and Bull Schoals Lake. Local area attraction includes, but not limited to, the Ozark Medieval Fortress (a castle in the making from the stone ages). There are also a few caves like the Mystic Caverns located 10 minutes south of Harrison, that are fun for the family to explore. Then about 30 minutes north of Harrison is Branson, MO. Branson is full of family entertainment and many fun tourist attractions like amusement parks, etc.
