my daughter and i went for her cheerleading tryouts at ucsb and it was a perfect location and the service was great. i spent most of my time in the hotel and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. i will be a frequent visitor for the next 4 years!

The friendly staff and comfortable beds. The room had a musty smell outside the bathroom. Hampton Inn was comfortable with all the conveniences a traveler needs (internet, microwave, refrigerator, desk, gym, laundry, and complimentary breakfast).

I travel to the area often for business and this was the first time I stayed at the Hampton Inn. The staff is very warm and go over the top to make you fell at home. The room was very comfortable. Duvet covers on the bed, VERY clean, easy access wireless internet access and nice flat screen televisions and fridge and microwave. Indoor cooridors with keyed entrance is excellent and safe. Other hotels in the area only have outdoor access and most have the "old motel" feel. The excercise room has cardio theatre(you can watch TV while you work out!) with headphones. I would reccommend this hotel 100%! Give it a try!!

The staff was so enjoyable and friendly. Every question we had was answered immediately and with a smile. We were unfamiliar with the Goleta and the staff was able to provide a list of restaurants and activities with directions. The hotel was so central to everything but far enough from state street that the cost of the room wasn't as expensive as it typically might be. When we checked in to our room we realized that the people prior to us must've smoked in the room. I called immediately down to the front and without an argument or question we were placed into a new room. It truly was delightful and I would most definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable bed let me sleep a full 8 hours. I don't have anything negative to say. This is an excellent hotel for visitors to Santa Barbara and UCSB. The beds are very comfortable with a duvet. There is ample free parking, and the hotel has a pool and whirlpool. There is a nice continental breakfast in the morning, and the lobby and dining areas are nice. There is a fitness room available as well. My room had a granite vanity in the bathroom. If you get hungry, there is a popular restaurant a half a block away: the Hamburger Habit.

Convenient Some construction in the lobby area Hampton Inn Goleta is a great value and very convenient for travellers going to UC Santa Barbara. A great location, free breakfast, nice staff, new renovated. Great value.

This was a clean, relatively new hotel. The Hampton Inn Goleta is a new, clean, moderately priced hotel with a friendly staff and decent facilities. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, this isn't it, and the location in Goleta leaves a little to be desired for a weekend in Santa Barbara.
