Used the htoels shuttle service. Was informed to call ahead for pickup at train station. Called before arriving at hotel and still waited over and hour in the sun with, no water, for the shuttle to pick us up. Called repeated times only to be told that the shuttle was on its way and was also told after 45 minutes of waiting that the shuttle just left.

Rooms were clean, comfortable and great breakfast. I definitely was impressed with the overall quality of the hotel and all the amenities.It was much more than I expected for just a 2 star rating. The breakfast choices were wonderful and we were grateful that it was available so early. The room was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We found the location great and access from Rt. 270 was a plus. Near a major shopping center with restaurants. We thought it had one of the best breakfasts we have had at motels. Free papers and computer were a plus. Wd did have a power outage for an hour and a half one morning

Neat, clean and nicely renovated! Pool was closed! Very nice accomodations and very friendly staff!It was also a nice treat to have cookies and brownies upon check in. The maid service was superb.

My husband and I chose this hotel because it was a great price, but ended up with sooo much more! It is located right off the highway and about 10 miles from the Shady Grove DC Metro Station. (End of Red Line). Once on the Metro, you have about a 25-30 minute ride to the Metro Center which connects all other metro trains. And believe me, you WANT to ride the metro. The traffic is sooo congested that you will spend 4 times that amount trying to drive your own car to the city. If you will be visiting the National Zoo, White House, and any Smithsonian, then this is a great hotel for you! They also have a movie theater, lots of restaurants, and a Safeway grocery store right down the road for added convenience. They have HOT breakfast every morning from 6-10AM. You can have anything from Cereal to "make your own" Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc!! The room was amazing, too. It has recently been remodeled and the bathrooms have beautiful dark wood cabinets with granite counter tops. Then there were the beds!!! The beds were AMAZING. The beds were probably the most comfortable we've ever slept in! The staff were top notch as well! So friendly and helpful! You wont ever regret staying at this hotel! If we ever go back to DC, you can bet we'll be staying here again!!

Free hot breakfast and comfortable bed. Traffic noise was completely close. This hotel has a lot of potential, but could be improved with not too much effort. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was free WiFi and a free hot breakfast. The window could not be closed completely, hence traffic noise.

The Hampton Inn in Germantown was a very pleasant experience. The hotel staff was friendly, both when we arrived and when we left. The room was very clean and the bed was very, very comfortable. The location was ideal, close to hotels and I270. If we are ever in Germantown, we will definitely stay there again.
