What transport is available to get around?: We only have local taxi services to get around town. Those guests coming in from Atlanta Hartsfield Airport need to rent from a rental car service.
What can I do nearby?: We are in the country which is 30 minutes from Gainesville, GA or Commerce, GA. We are an hour away from Athens, GA (a University town) and an hour from the north end of Atlanta. Our town has a phone museum, train depot museum, Johnny Mize Museum at Piedmont College Athletic Department, and hiking trails throughout the county. Lake Russell is in our county; Lake Burton and Lake Hartwell are in neighboring counties.
