The hotel was very clean and differently I will go back...

The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows! The bathrooms were large with lots of counter space. Did laundry cheaply! No way to open windows for fresh air. Very nice place to stay. We were out of the commercialized areas, so from quiet to action was just a drive around the corner.

The guy at the front desk was rudeduring check-in. All the other employees were super nice. As we started to check in the guy at the desk attempted to collect the balance of the stay yet again. He told us our stay had not been paid for. I showed him our paperwork, he then said this is why you should book thru us & not them. Not sure what that comment was about but I guess he is not a big fan of orbitz. The stay would have been great but this guy started off our visit in a bad way....We have never had a problem with other hotels checking us in with our reservation being booked thru Orbitz. Maybe someone needs to see if he really needs to work in that kind of place. That will run customers off in a hurry!

Staff was friendly and overall hotel was neat and clean. Not a high end hotel but star rated correctly. Staff was friendly. Overall hotel was neat and clean. Better than average breakfast choices during our stay.

Hotel was in good location and quiet away from tourist spots-when we visited the pool was not ready yet but we were given privileges to the indoor pool at the Holiday Inn next door in the same parking lot. Breakfast staff was very attentive and courteous

I would recommend this hotel for those who want to be a little bit outside of the congested area. For us, it was perfect. The bed was devine; big and fluffy. Curiously this 2-story hotel has no elevator so if you stay on the 2nd floor you will have to haul your suitcases up a narrow staircase. Their hot breakfast was also a bit curious: prepackaged eggs and pancakes that you heat in the microwave like you would popcorn. Pancakes did not taste fresh. On the whole, we'd stay here again if just to sleep in that amazing bed.

The bed was awesome, the staff was nice. However, They make it clear that there is not a Continental Breakfast but a hot one. When in fact, it is frozen pancakes and waffles that the hotel stayer has to warm up in the microwave and do not warm it up according to their directions as you will over cook it and it will be hard. It could use a little paint job in the rooms and bathrooms as well.

This is a very excellent hotel for the price. It is clean and rooms comfortble and staff is pleasant. I would love to stay here again on my visit to Cherokee. The location was excellent for those visiting the Casino and exhibits. I loved this hotel.

All that you should expect from a Hampton. The hotel was very clean and convenient to Bryson City, so if you are taking your children to the Polar Express, this is a very nice place to be staying. The check in was dreadful. Desk clerk told us there was no handicap accessible room on the first floor. Since there is no elevator, we could not understand that. Manager corrected it the second day and credited us our stay, so we were not quite so upset. Don't stay for the breakfast, it is not good. Stay for the awesome beds and the cleanliness. wonderful if other things left something to be desired.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving (Wed - Sunday) and were very pleased. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was great. It was a large room with Wonderful beds. They were very comfortable and had 3 thick pillows and a lumbar pillow for each bed. Free in-room WIFI internet was easy to connect to and they can provide a card if you need one. The complimentary breakfast was good also. It had prepackaged food you could heat in the microwaves(waffles, pancakes, good omelets), bagels and pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, hot chocolate. My husband and I are diabetics and they had plenty of sugar-free items available also. For an average of $55/night, it was an excellent bargain!

We stayed here Thanksgiving 2007. We got a great rate, an average of $55/night. The motel was very clean and modern. Staff was great! Great location for Cherokee, Maggie Valley, Gatlinburg, Blue Ridge Parkway, etc. Free breakfast was good. It was very good on the weekdays, less on the weekend mornings. "Hot" part is heating things in the microwave. Only thing I didn't like was trying to get the free shuttle to Harrah's Casino. I waited two hours and it never came. This is a great motel for the price. Would definately stay here again.
